  1. It's someone on the boards relative who has long standing connections with the club who is tweeting exactly the same things as steelboy is posting. That's the source yes? I am hugely unhappy that some people seem to have inside knowledge and the rest of us don't. Particularly as it seems that narrative is being used to try and persuade fans to say no to outside investment.
  2. All I saw on here earlier in the season was that Bair and just about everyone else was shite and that Kettlewell should go. Not in disagreement but shame it's taken this long to realise what a good team and manager we actually have.
  3. It's rumours from someone in the "know" who has been tweeting the same thing. Conspiracy theory rubbish. Just because they don't want outside investment doesn't mean other people can't make up their own mind.
  4. That's not the case. It was a light hearted comment about Taylor Swift.
  5. He didn't. That's just a rumour going around from a source. I've seen the same thing tweeted I assume by said source.
  6. I think Butcher should be offered a new deal. Even if it's just a year
  7. I hope we keep McGinn too. And SOD
  8. I personally think as good as Bair has been for us over the last while - there are still games where his form is a bit up and down (like many players) and I don't see why we should be thinking at this stage of him moving on when he's got another year on his contract. We should be looking to keep players who are producing the goods for us in my view. It's obviously going to be harder to keep Miller but I'd be hugely disappointed if we lost Bair this summer. I personally hope Slattery gets offered new terms.
  9. I think SK is brilliant. For all his mistakes.
  10. I wouldn't have taken the punt on him if I had been Killie tbh. Just think it was obvious he was out of condition and might struggle. I don't think they needed him. And clearly they didn't as it's panned out
  11. I get your point but given that he hadn't played football in a couple of months and wasn't in condition it was probably unlikely that he would replicate the form he had with us.
  12. If he hasn't hit form for Killie then surely he wasn't going to hit form for anyone. He's hardly made it off the bench
  13. Surely the players have to take some responsibility if we aren't playing well. It's not just on the management
  14. We've not had an easy run of things with injuries this season as folks know. Did I think at two nil down we were going to win? No. At two one? No. Probably not even at 2-2. Id have happily taken the point. I think we've done ok given the loss of Slattery. Losing Biereth. Miller's injury. And so on. That was probably one of the biggest games of our season today.
  15. They've just put a statement out saying they aren't involved at this stage.
  16. They are not involved in negotiations. They've just said this. Surely the fact that members will be able to accept or reject should be enough. Surely people can let the process happen first and then make a decision thereafter. If fans don't like the proposals they can vote against it.
  17. That isn't what they said. Come on
  18. Who said they were in talks with an American investor at that point? You don't think the Taylor Swift comment was tongue in cheek?
  19. No one should know any info about this at this point apart from the parties involved in the discussions. If it's folk within the club behind these rumours that's spectacularly unprofessional in my view. We should all find out as fans at the same time.
  20. No proof equals defamation. Don't do that to people. You think Motherwell didn't do due diligence before they appointed a CEO?
  21. So basically there's "rumours" of him cooking the books. I assume circulating on other forums. He's cooked the books to his own benefit to the tune of 750k and managed to delete all the evidence but it's now believed to have been recovered? Folk can speculate online - that's human nature. But until any of this is proven as fact - this is just gossip. Reputationally damaging at that.
  22. I don't think we signed Halliday with injury issues. He's also 32. Which isn't that old for a footballer. He's four years older than Spittal for context
