  1. I wouldn't disagree with that. Just a shame to see all the eff offs under the post on twitter. Folk are human at the end of the day.
  2. Personally I think it's the decent thing to do to support someone through an injury and not just cut their loan short.
  3. I think the whole team went through a dip in confidence that was visible. Spittal has always been a quality player in my view. Id say the same for Slattery. Clear a lot of the team struggled for a bit after the Celtic loss in September.
  4. I hope he gets confidence from seeing Bair progress and kicks on.
  5. Martindale on the other hand seems to be Teflon. Not saying I want him sacked
  6. Completely agree and over quite a long period of time as well. I think it's clear the criticism that's been dished out to some players has affected their performances. He's been booed coming on to the park ... No need. Ps for clarification... This is just my opinion.
  7. I think personally the stick some players have had this and last season has been a bit OTT and I absolutely think Bair got more than he deserved at points. Even when he wasn't scoring you could see the shift he was putting in.
  8. I personally think he (and some others got too much stick ) and tbh there must come a time when you are under pressure and it might start to dent your confidence. I personally think the team lost confidence after that loss to Celtic at the end of last September.
  9. Just said to someone privately that my favourite player has been Slattery over the last couple of seasons but Spittal is hugely underrated. Pay him what he wants.. build the statue
  10. Spittal has always been solid for us. I feel the same about Slattery. And I'm an unashamed Kettlewell Stan this evening. I've always rated him even through the shit times
  11. I actually knew we were going to pump them. I just didn't want to believe it.
  12. I was crying when we were two nil up! 😂 That's just me. You know how it is ... The rollercoaster 😂
  13. I'm just over the moon for once that I gave my season ticket away to my brother's pal and we won! (Still got a broken nose and two black eyes). My mum doesn't go to games these days apart from cup games but she phoned me to tell me it was four nil then I phoned her to tell her it was five nil. Good times. I actually started crying when i saw on twitter that we were two nil up. That's just me though
  14. I agree but Kirk scored a lot of goals from the midfield back in the day. I think Kirk never got the credit he was due back in the day tbh Blair is just an excellent all round player. I hope we keep him
  15. Maybe. But I still think he brings a lot to the midfield. For all his faults he plays for the jersey like Spitts
  16. I didn't phrase my point in the best way to be fair. I wasn't trying to suggest we weren't struggling. By slump I meant if we went on a losing run. It's ok. There's absolutely no worries.
  17. I think when slats is on his game hes excellent to be fair. I personally hope to see him in the claret and amber again
  18. Strange. Because you referred to me as a Kettlewell apologist in another thread. I've got Stockholm syndrome apparently. I've asked the mods to delete my account. I'm a season ticket holder. I know exactly how many games we've won and lost this season. No one needs their nose rubbed in it just because they aren't calling for Kettlewell to be sacked
  19. I'm not going to predict the score... Because I have it on very good authority that I'm a Kettlewell apologist. Good luck to the team tomorrow though
  20. Im not a Kettlewell apologist just because I don't agree with you. People should be able to have different views on the manager without being referred to as apologists. If there's only room for one opinion on this or any other football forum then what is the point of having a platform where people should be able to express different viewpoints?
  21. Yeah that is a sore one - but that's football. The fact that he didn't talk to the media after the cup defeat was a sign that it was all over. He's working at Celtic just now I believe.
