  1. I am sure whichever way the vote goes that will be our final decision. It would be very odd to use this to just canvas opinions.
  2. The voting would need to be independently adjudicated to make sure that it was all fair and above board. I am sure that our club will have it all sorted by the time of the vote.
  3. True, you would be reliant on only Well Society members voting.
  4. Any plans for an online poll of Well Society members, to gauge which way the vote will go? Or are we all polled out.
  5. At least Motherwell are now giving the Well Society the vote, it’s a pity that Killie are not adopting a similar policy. At least if the fans vote YES you can’t complain that they didn’t consult you.
  6. It’s purely a personal thing, it doesn’t matter to me whether Motherwell or Well Society vote Yes, I will only go back if the vote is NO.
  7. Assuming that the vote will be a resounding NO, I will be doing likewise. This is a much fairer way to decide on the fate of a Newco, I only hope that all Well Society members do the right thing.
  8. I’ve not renewed mine, and wont unless our board vote NO. I was a little surprised that our season ticket sales were up.
  9. This was certainly the message being touted by our official website.
  10. Even under those strict conditions, they would probably still hump us.
  11. Pretty much sums it up, but no doubt Leeann and CO will thinking up some bullshit spin on why we should let them in.
  12. Dundee are well supported, but I am not sure that I would give them this tag. I am sure on there day, Hearts. Hibs and Aberdeen would bring more. Good work on the other figures.
  13. It would be good to get this sorted, if nothing else it will hammer home the thoughts of the fans to the respective team boards. I would have preferred a joint protest, however that had the potential to become a logistical nightmare. Anyway, once a date has been arranged a separate thread might be required to make sure everyone knows the date, time and place.
  14. I am surprised that there has not been one organised before now. If Rangers fans can organise a march to Hampden surely the other 11 can do likewise.
  15. Has anyone got a copy of the Andrew Lapping letter to the Herald? Edit. I think I’ve found it... "The SPL should seize the opportunity to change its voting structure such that decisions are made by the majority not the minority. On football grounds alone, Rangers need to be punished for their arrogance, tax evasion and downright bullying – the punishment will only be temporary but the real opportunity is for a change in voting rights to facilitate wholesale reform for the good of the game. This may be tough on both Celtic and newco Rangers, but most supporters will welcome a more level playing field.” "Competition will raise standards, increase interest from passive supporters and ultimately see a redistribution of income across a wider number of clubs. The catalyst is an immediate change in the voting system, to be followed by a root and branch review in the knowledge that the conclusions can be implemented."
  16. I would also be there. Anyone know the date of the proposed fans forum?
  17. Good for you big yin, we need to get the message over any way we can.
  18. If they don’t listen to the fans on this one, the Well Society is fucked.
  19. Games against this mob will hopefully soon become a distant memory. This is all too rare colour shot from the early 60s, an era when most sporting images were still shot in black and white.
  20. Following on from our recently released 100 years of claret and amber kit, the new Liverpool away design evoked for me memories of our first ever claret and amber home top. In season 2010-11 Bradford City (the side that we adopted our original C&A top from) also produced a similar successful kit tribute. This early design template was worn by many sides during the early 1900’s, in fact Bradford liked it so much that they wore it again from 1948-53. Due to the high percentage of claret, It’s probably too much for a home top, however it would make a really nice away. My love of old school retro (and you don’t get much more retro than this) has really been revived again, with kit designers now more than ever seeking inspiration from the past. I know these designs might be too much for some, but as I have said previously it’s impossible to please everyone all of the time.
  21. As we are in the process of becoming a fan owned club, it’s my opinion that we the fans should be informed on which way we intend to vote. However it is possible that the SPL may want to keep the voting private.
