  1. When it comes to voting on whether a Newco Rangers should be allowed back into the SPL, I would hope yes. However my understanding is that it’s not on the agenda, and will only happen if and when they form a new company.
  2. Sounds good. It’s a pity that there is not a bigger protest march planned, I’m sure the eleven SPL clubs could easily match the 7000 Rangers fans who marched to Hampden. How about a march to Ibrox? Now that would really wind them up.
  3. If it comes to pass and Motherwell vote against a Rangers Newco then I would buy my season ticket as normal. At least then they would have shown to me that they value sporting integrity. However the chances of that happening are slim to none. Only Dunfermline have spoke out against a Newco, and it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to work out the reason why.
  4. I would also at some point like to see a one off reintroduction of the hooped sleeve on our home top. It might be too rugby for some, but I quite like it. Yet another mock up from last year, complete with black socks!
  5. The Puma template reminds me of this recent Umbro template. (this is one that I mocked up last year)
  6. The new Dundee Puma template would fit in nicely with the proposed petrol blue/claret/amber top.
  7. What has astounded me is that the SPL at the present time have no rules in place to deal with a club that goes into liquidation. Surely when setting up an organisation you need to cover all eventualities. The thick bastards that wrote the rules and regulations could have avoided all this mess by having liquidation punishments already in place. Then every club would be under no illusion of the punishment that would be dished out if and when they are liquidated.
  8. I personally can’t see a problem on having a full hoop on any potential Euro shirt. The numbers on our 2009 shirt where clearly legible enough for UEFA or they wouldn’t have allowed us to wear it.
  9. I can’t see anything changing tomorrow, so I’m afraid it will be yet another defeat at the hands of these cheats. 3-0 Rangers.
  10. I also sketched a similar design with a simple V neck collar. The design was to celebrate our 1913 switch from blue to claret and amber.
  11. There has been so many kit threads that I’m not sure where the old ones are. Personally I would love either a Sampdoria inspired blue top or a revival of our classic Summer Cup away. Here’s two old examples that I found on my computer.
  12. I am presuming Leeann is pro allowing a Newco straight back into the top flight. At the end of the day I just want to know Motherwell’s official stance on the matter. Whether that information comes from Derek Weir, Leeann Dempster or the Claret and Amber bears I am not that bothered. In an ideal world, Rangers will come out of administration and I can buy my season ticket as usual.
  13. Like a few on here I have my season ticket money at the ready, just waiting on a reply.or
  14. We played well today and the win puts the ball firmly back into United's court. It remains to be seen whether they can respond by beating Rangers at Ibrox on Wednesday. A win or draw at Tynecastle would help put a little more pressure on United before that match.
  15. I am sure fourth placed Dundee United will have something to say about that.
  16. Going by recent head to head results I fully expect Dundee United to beat Hearts, so a win is a must. Our game will be tighter than a ducks arse but I am hopeful that we can sneak it by two goals to one. Mon the Well!
  17. When filling out my SPL CB predictor for the weekend games I noticed that Dundee United have had 5 straight wins over Hearts in the league. If that’s anything to go by, Hearts appear to be United’s whipping boy.
  18. Like a few on here I’m waiting on the outcome of any Newco Rangers being allowed straight back into the SPL. Until that decision is made, I will not be renewing my season ticket.
  19. Derek Adams for me, closely followed by McCall. Lennon shouldn’t even be in it in my opinion. He was handed the league on a plate and royally fucked up two Cup competitions.
  20. Spot on, like it or not Motherwell are on the ropes and United are hitting us where it hurts. It’s still in our hands, but those hands are starting to look a little shaky.
  21. Yet another lacklustre performance against one of the Old Firm. My prediction was 3-1 to Celtic, even now, I can’t believe I ever thought we might sneak a goal (what was I thinking!). The saving grace is that Dundee United and St Johnstone’s record against them is probably no better. The real test begins against our non Old Firm rivals, and that will ultimately decide our European fate.
