In the last 10 meetings the Dons had only scored 11 goals. Tonight they score 4 in one game.

Kettlewell record at County was poor. Appointed after Owen Coyle resigned. Lasted 6 months and was sacked after a 2-0 defeat to Accies. He only had a good win percentage last season because of one player. That really papered over the cracks. His record at County before being sacked was played 24, won 7 for a 29% win percentage. This season. If Dons win it will be 3 wins in 10 for a 30% win percentage. If those stats got him the sack at County they sure as hell should get him the sack at FP.

I am afraid to say we are dropping like a stone down that league. Kettlewell working his way out the door. Van Veen saved us last year. Not happening this year. To put it bluntly we are pish. It will be no wins in 6 if we don't win tonight.

As soon as Van Veen left it was going to be difficult. After today if we don't score it will be 8 games played only 7 goals scored. Oh and a certain Louis Moult has just netted for Dundee Utd. Now 3 in 4 games for him.

WTF does he stick a guy on the bench who set a goal up and scored one in his last game. Beginning to think Kettlewell was made to look good as a manager by one player Van Veen. Tactically he hasn't got it.

As expected never really in the game. They dominated and had 75% possession. Our first goal was off side. The official using VAR couldn't draw a straight line. Even without VAR he was offside. Sakala was also off side before Cantwells goal. All in all another fuck up performance from VAR.

The worrying thing is they are gash.

Watching the first 20 minutes it looks like we have resumed normal service. Terrible game by two terrible teams on a terrible pitch.

Stevie Hammell hit the ground running and had the players with him then he crashed and burned. So let's just hop on the same merry go round with Kettlewell and hope it works. Kettlewell has won two games in a row now he is the Messiah according to some people. Also why is Burrows interviewing him as reported in the press. Two wins and be thinks he can hold a gun to the clubs head and make all sorts of demands. Tell him to fuck off.

Back to the Alexander long ball football. Difference is we have a big guy up front with KVV. He brings a physical presence which is more important than skill in the Scottish game. That has been evident even though we won the last two games. This approach with long ball football and limited possession (Hearts had nearly 70% possession,) is more suited to our lack of skill in being able to play possession football which spectacularly failed under Hammell. Even he resorted to kick it long at the end. This comes down to whether the use of performance matters or is just about grinding out results.

Two good results and it looks like board are going to offer him the job. Wait until the end of the season. If he keeps us up then maybe. If he fails to keep us up then bye bye. Totally short sighted to give him the job based on two results.

He is already on the wage bill so promoting him to manager will only involve a wage increase not a new guy on the wage bill. Then Clarkson will take Kettlewells job and he is also already on the pay role. Hopefully you understand what the cheap option is now.

I can't believe people are touting Kettlewell because he won one of the worst games of football I have seen. With our incompetent board that's the road they are going down. Prediction. Kettlewell announced as next manager. Cheap option again. Check my posts when Hammell was appointed. I said he was the wrong choice and Kettlewell will once again be the wrong choice.

For the cup game Raith Rovers 5/2. Motherwell even money. Raith unbeaten in last 10 matches. Last time they lost was the 3rd December.

To be honest it doesn't matter who he plays. There is no direction at the club. Can anyone tell me what kind of team we are apart from a losing one. We have no identity as a team or how we want to play and set up. Sure we have had injuries, but that is part and parcel of football. Hammell has started to do what Alexander did when he was struggling, shuffle the pack, play players out of position, disappoint players by dropping them for no reason and playing players who need to be dropped. He is a drowning man. Tomorrow's display will determine whether the players are playing for him or have downed tools.

Stevie has no clue about how he wants us to play. He just hasn't got the knowledge or tactical awareness. Also chopping and changing players every week. The people who really carry the can for this debacle are Burrows and the board. Now I know why Burrows jumped. Deserting a sinking ship which he helped to build.
