  1. Thoughts on Billy mckinley? He was mooted before baraclough got the job Not seen him mentioned on this but noticed his odds at 16/1 currently.
  2. Barry ferguson and Jim Duffy current favourites with sky bet at 6/1 Robinson 7/1
  3. Robinsons job if he wants it which he does
  4. Got Patrick promoted on a limited budget Signed players like Robertson for Dundee Utd that made them millions, bloods youngsters Still employed at York city more to that than just getting sacked Dundee Utd chairman hung him out to dry in my opinion Him, Collins,Davies would be my first 3 choices
  5. Who would you have that you think we could afford?
  6. My argument for McLeish and Davies is down to the level they have been at before and their experience of Scottish football. They went on to do "relatively" Well at a higher level Mcghee left to do worse and we took him back Why wouldn't we take someone back who went on and achieved in management when they left the club ?
  7. In my opinion a DOF is exactly what we need Can't help but feel Alan burrows plays the figure of 3 roles at the moment, chief exec officer,DOF (given he deals with contracts etc) and head of media. In my opinion as a senior figure he needs to take himself away from day to day dealings with players Some restructuring and we can absolutely afford to put someone in post for this, we have done that very thing on the commercial front to bring in who he wanted to bring in Someone with a business background as well as a knowledge of working within football for me though. That's not mcghee in my opinion
  8. Wouldn't want Craigan for the simple fact that he's doing a brilliant job at 20s and I'm excited to see where we would be in 3years time if he were to stay in charge there Fear would be that he would take over from mcghee and ultimately end up with the same fate further down the line For me it would be a fresh manager and assistant as much as I'd love Faddy to stay involved as a coach Someone like jackie Mcnamara would be my choice, played attacking football at Utd and even Patrick and has always been keen to promote youth through both of those sides. Appreciate he didn't have a good time at York but from what I read there were a lot of mitigating circumstances which is why he still is employed there Failing that I'd have McLeish or Davies back in a heart beat whilst keeping our old guard involved in a coaching/assistant manager capacity For what it's worth though I'd stick my mortgage on Robinson getting the job full time
  9. Going along and making your feelings known is a far better way of expressing your grievances than boycotting and hurting the club financially at a time we are crying out for money
  10. Who are you talking about here mcghee or burrows? Both? Sadly I think you are 100% right on your other point
  11. That's exactly what I want to know
  12. McGhee I fear does I don't think flow has the balls or power to sack him. Although who is the person with the power to make the change now? Good a time as any to ask that question I fear we have McGhee until he decides he wants away
  13. The body language of the players at each goal has been appalling. Skippy at one moment just stood and faced the dug out as if to say what the fuck are you going to do about this mess
  14. After that 1st half performance unless I see a massive change in attitude then I'm pretty much firmly in this camp now. Players need to show a reaction in the first 5mins or Il be leaving You don't give up time with your family/friends to watch absolute shit like that. Everyone has bad days but we haven't bothered our arse at each goal. No one seems particularly bothered
  15. Seen a lot in my time as a Well fan, but by god am I embarrassed by that first half performance
  16. Not looking good on the career front in terms of his injury, think he's hoping there might be light at the end of the tunnel tomorrow. That said I'm pretty positive you won't see him play for us again
  17. I wonder if this includes additional fundraising initiatives that the society have spoken about before? If so let's get race nights, football cards and sponsored silences in the diary now
  18. Just mentioned this on another thread unbelievable gesture which he didn't need to make I think now really is the time to help get us on the most sound financial footing we have been on in years, really is the time to raise as much money as physically possible. put into perspective £500k in our bank rather than Mr hutchisons makes a huge difference to our club and the opportunities available to us over the next 3-5years, id go as far as saying it would go a long way to solidifying our existence in the top tier
  19. Fantastic gesture today from les Hutchison to ultimately reduce our debt by £500k, now really is the time to get involved if you are not already
  20. Thought jules and Lasley were the main two worth mentioning Thought that was one of the least effective games iv seen if cadden but hey it's all about opinion I'm a fan of cars,my father in law ain't. So I took a closer look than normal today and it was hard to disagree with the old man. He played a far more defensive role than attaking for me today Can't think of a time jules but a foot wrong, and thought las covered every blade of grass. Pearo and Lucas will fit in nicely together in that formation going forward
  21. This absolutely this 100% Get back to appreciating what a decent squad we have McGhee and have a right good go at teams. Setting up for a defeat is no better than having a go at beating the opposition to get beat 3-0 . Heavy defeats like today are easier to take when you have had a right good go and played to your strengths
  22. Positives were the shape of the team was right and I'd like to see us play that way going forward Jules looks a player, Pearson and Lucas were positive coming on Thought las for all his doubters was great today Poor decisions, deflected goal , another possible suspension Oh we'll always next week
  23. Going by the recent trend of players doing signings in the club shop when not playing ,I doubt Pearson will be in the squad for tomorrow
