  1. Forgot about McHugh, yea would prob have him in instead of clay, clay/Lucas would be a toss up tho
  2. Samson (reluctantly) Heneghan McManus jules Cadden Lasley clay Pearson Lucas Moult ainsworth That would prob be my team for Saturday , shake it up a bit and stick a bit of pace up top to run onto balls and give a 5 man midfield somthing to play the ball through to quickly Don't like the idea of dropping Tait and Hammell tbh but I think we need to play to our strengths in that we have a big midfield pool to play with and we need to smother their midfield on the evidence of their game last night
  3. pearo in will be the only move , pretty sure of that
  4. He's in Holland organizing a loan move so don't think we will be seeing him at Motherwell
  5. Said the same to someone at the game yesterday, was a strange comment to make
  6. Wondered when he would get the blame You employ a manager for a reason, you have to trust that manager to mould ,develop and build the team. Unless you think your mr Romanov then I don't think you should be stepping in as a Chief operating officer and passing judgment on a players age. Nothing to do with burrows, unfair to blame him for "sanctioning" players who are under performing Just my opinion mind you
  7. Hopefully pearo will address the balance in the centre of the park, 3 players to choose from in there and they are all defensive centre mids in my opinion
  8. Not sure where this chat of him being down south has come from. That was in his first spell. I'm led to believe he spends the week up here and a sun/mon down south when visiting family. Don't see anything wrong with that
  9. Very hard not to agree with all of this
  10. It's clear he doesn't rate him, ok doesn't need to start the game but he's one of the most handiest subs to have with the pace he has on the bench. I was more surprised he didn't bring Lasley on. Wouldn't have surprised me with some of the decisions iv seen him make this season
  11. Not saying he's the messiah but when your chasing the game and need an injection of pace between midfield and up front along with a quick outball, why do you bring on a centre forward that's done nothing of note and doesn't look the most mobile and a guy that's had an hours training with the rest of the squad against a guy who has a habit of finding the net when coming on the park
  12. McGhee will remain until he decides to leave
  13. Ainsworth should have been brought on as soon as we went behind, decision to not bring him on and run at there average defence was baffling
  14. Today made it clear why we need an attacking midfielder and forward. Lost with just moult up top
  15. Belic and Laing are away, bowman being offered around. Don't think we would stand in Blyth's way if someone takes him. And we have a few out on loan, Thomas/Mackin etc. Space is being freed up over the weekend Also take into consideration the keeper yesterday was a straight swap for brill and on loan so there's a saving of wages there as well. I think we are being smart and boxing clever this window
  16. Looking likely pearo will be back from what iv been told
  17. Think another centre mid will be our next one in and poss another up top
  18. Add Another player up top to that list as well, as it will be the same story for Blyth/ bowman and belic (Belic already away) and wouldn't be overly shocked to see skippy go this window altho I think it's likely we will hold onto him until the summer
  19. Think you will see a centre half come in as cover for McManus and Ben. Laing and Kennedy won't play for Motherwell again so that leaves us light at the back
  20. Would only be until may, I suspect will be in the market for 2 strikers come the summer to replace mount and McDonald
  21. My understanding is he is happy with the 20s and tv work and not interested in management
  22. Totally agree but it just seems like a waste of a move for him Wasn't ever convinced by him either to br honest
  23. Lee Erwin looking Patrick thistle bound, what a disappointing time he has had since leaving us
  24. No one appears to have the confidence to have a pop at goal, few chances we get in around the box we want to turn back on ourselves
