  1. No ones saying well fans causing trouble should be let off. What gets me is that Celtic obviously identified those guilty if they banned them from parkhead so why haven't the police arrested them?
  2. So the police have no problem catching up with well fans, yet we still wait on them arresting the scum who damaged the seats. Strathclyde police are an utter disgrace.
  3. Cannae believe some folk are still having a pop at vigurs. Some absolute tossers in our support.
  4. Cheers for that weeyin. Very enjoyable read.
  5. I seem to remember us winning 5 in a row in Alex McLeish's first season including wins at hearts and Aberdeen and a home win v rangers. Yhinknit ended with a 2each draw at easter road.
  6. The Hibs game was abandoned due to a generator fault, the united game was a power cut in the local area.
  7. Also need to stop making teams travel ridiculous distances over the xmas/new year period. Making us travel to Aberdeen on boxing day was a joke.
  8. I don't take pleasure in seeing tom struggle, he was part of my favourite ever well team and for that I'm grateful..but..sometimes players need to use their heads when looking for a move. There's ways to go about leaving a club, examples are faddy, Sutton, higdon etc. These guys come to the club, work their socks off, do the business and earn a move. No whoring themselves to every club available. If things don't work out elsewhere then because they've left in good terms and held in high esteem with the fans, their welcome back. Some players don't get that though, law, Pearson, Slane etc. Its funny that as mentioned not many players go onto better things, and of the few that do, some have only enjoyed success by coming back here. Lasley, hammell and probably Sutton for example. Says a lot about our club really.
  9. He will be. Dundee keeper got stretchered off so even if he hadnt been due to return he will have been recalled.
  10. Think this'll be a lot closer than the st Johnstone game. ICT are in the top half for a reason, even though they've had a bad run lately, they still have a good group of players. Cannot even predict what team Mccall will play, he's been tinkering lately and its paying off. Disappointed we've lost Dan, as Gunnar doesn't fill me with confidence. I'll predict a tight 1each draw.
  11. Just seen that Dundee's keeper has been stretchered off in their game at Raith rovers. Might mean Dan the man getting recalled sooner than expected..gutted if we don't keep him actually.
  12. Hardest decision of the season so far, so many good performances. I'll go for Ramsden though who has been my player of the season so far.
  13. Would love Lawson to score winner just to get it up.some of the fuds on here.
  14. Expecting a win and a big following normally means one thing... 1nil thistle
  15. Great result. Its amazing that Aberdeen and Dundee utd have been praised by everyone this season and yet we have moved above them whilst we've been branded as poor.
  16. I bet there's a few Lawson haters on here hoping we get beat so they can blame him for it.
  17. No thread yet so I'll start. Pondered with the idea of travelling up but think I'll give it a miss due to the expense of driving up myself. Aberdeen seemingly.have defensive problems so think we might have a chance of taking something. 1-1 Sutton.
  18. Wellfan1984 who said anything about Celtic bringing criminal charges??
  19. Well said MJC. Its comical that if you criticize Celtic on here your branded a rangers fan and vice versa. Playground patter.
  20. So if Celtic know who the culprits are, will criminal charges be brought against those guilty?
  21. Brazilian if your seriously comparing what our fans have done to what these scumbags done on Friday you need to have a word with yourself. You do actually sound like your trying to defend the green brigade.
  22. You'll find most MSP's are bitter Tims and won't be interested.
  23. I agree with MJC. Would you wait till the timing belt goes on your car before replacing it. If your roof is leaking do you wait till it collapses in before fixing it? Sometimes.if something isn't happening it needs to be dealt with..I can see why people feel mccall deserves time but unfortunately football is ruthless. There is no loyalty in the game anymore. Players like Hateley, law and higdon proved that. And do we honestly think if rangers came calling Mccall wouldn't ditch us? Financially can we really afford to keep.going out of cups early?
  24. Ok I started a new thread seen I didn't want to clog up the actual match thread. We've now all seen the damage these parasites done to the south stand but I also wanted to discuss the general atmosphere at the game. I walked up through dalziel av from the shields road flats last night and I must say its a long time since I've felt so edgy going to a game. Scores of that lot drinkin bottles of wine and beer, pishing in the street, shouting abuse at any passing well fans. Now I'm in my fortys and far from a coward but for the first time in my life I covered my scarf up walking past as the atmosphere was poisonous to say the least. I refuse to take my family to games against Celtic and last night justified it. I couldnt put my granddaughters through that. A couple in front of me had 2 young boys decked out In well colours and I ended up walking with them as they were clearly shaken by the abuse being directed at them. I wouldnt have done much good against dozens of scummy mhanks full of drink but it certainly made the mother feel better knowing there was at least one more friendly face around. All the way round past the south stand towards knowetop they were committing all sorts of offences from urinating in the street, singing sectarian songs and throwing empty alcohol containers away on the street while the police done nothing This brings me to the game itself. From the start it was clear the atmosphere from the south was hate filled. The aisles were full of people standing and flares and smoke bombs were being let of every few seconds. Even folk I've spoke to in the east stand said they could see that lot holding up plastic seats while the police and stewards stood feet away and done nothing. We know seats get damaged at grounds now and then but the extent of last nights damage is beyond that. Not only is the plastic broke but the entire black metal attaching the seats to the stairs are totally pulled off. iRA and other stuff also wrote on the stairs and seats. Looking at the pics on twitter is actually quite sickening. Our club really need to make some sort of statement on this and not sweep.it under the carpet. No way in 2013 should people be scared or put off attending or taking family to football matches. I will never attend another game at fir park against Celtic and that is definite even as a season ticket holder. Some people will say what can the club do. Well to start off they need to speak to.police and stewards and ask why nothing was done to stop seats getting smashed. Why also were the green brigade allowed to sit in that one massive section. Was it a case of sit where you want? motherwell are quick to make statements critising well farms for throwing paper onto.pitch at the European game so let's see if the come out and openly criticise Celtic fans. I won't hold.my breath though. I left the game on 70minutes last night, not because of the score.but because I didn't want to.walk past that utter vermin after the game. I'll say it again no one should feel.like that at any football game. Pretty sure when we buy tickets we need to provide personal details so do the club have details of who were sitting in the damaged seats? A bit of a rant here and I apologise but last night was my worst experience ever at a game and I'm sure others feel the same. If I had my way I would ban these animals from fir park. They have shown in recent years at Tynecastle , dens park and Amsterdam that they are getting out of control and are being allowed to do so.
