Maybe that's part of the manager training programme we put these young guys on. We give them the experiance and the knowledge and tell them that if they do well a big club will come in for them. I take it some clown has replaced Manchester Utd with Aberdeen as an example.
-
If I'm being honest I would probably say Yes to that. However too much has happened since he left and the way he was looking towards the end of his time at Aberdeen, I would imagine the last thing on his mind would be managing another club right now. I have been really inspired with some of the names we have been linked with though and can't wait to see what the combination of Dodds and Chisolm can bring to our club. NOT!!!! Maybe it is time to bleed another new manager but this time let it be guys with a Motherwell connection. I would gladly have chopped my right arm off for Adams but that won't happen now. Maybe it's time for Craggs to think about his long term future and take on the assistants role and have someone like Leitch or McCart as the manager. If we could get someone with an experienced head to look after them it might work.
-
Sounds like a great idea. Could even bid to become the groundsman ............ oh wait they already tried that .......... :wank: Seriously though, it's something that should raise some funds for the club and the best of luck with it.

looks like we'll be taken his right to free type from him as well.

Personally I don't see why it needs to be a Cup Final win. We have a team out there that have qualified for Europe 3 seasons running and sitting 3rd at present. That should be enough to put them down as Club Legends. The nucleus of that team have been Craigan, Hammell, Reynolds, Lasley, Sutton and Murphy of them only one hasn't been brought though the youth system or didn't play for us from an early age. Add to that the other players to be here as part of the team over the 3 years you have Fitzy, Jennings, Humphrey (fast becoming a favourite this season), O'Brien, Coke, Ruddy and Juke. Out of those we seem to praise and worship the guys that are only with us a short time Ruddy and the Juke being examples. I wonder how the same sort of support would have helped the likes of Murphy, Fitzpatrick and Fagan to reach higher levels. Murphy is starting to show again what he is capable of. Fitzy may not get that chance again and he could end up like Fagan. Both score important goals early in the career and the fans mindset is set to look for them doing it more in the future. A lot of fans seem to forget what these guys give us in a defensive sense and if they don't see them in and around the oppositions box for most of the game they had a bad game. Even if it's been these guys that have won the ball and started of the move that leads to the goal. Don't get me wrong I can get frustrated at players but I don't constantly find myself looking for them to make a bad pass just so I can bawl and shout abuse at them. It does bring it back to I pays my money I do what I like argument. However it might be worth thinking that if I back the player maybe I'l get more than my money's worth. The OP talked about players with a real infinity for the Club and Fans, Crags, Hammell and Lasley have to fall into category as does in my opinion Reynolds. I also have the feeling that if Pearson and McDonald hadn't played up to the ramblings of the Press and their agents they'd would've been praised by the fans in the same way that McFadden is. You look at the older players in the team just now I wouldn't be unhappy to still see Lasley, Hammell and Sutton still playing with us for another couple of years. I would love to say Crags but he isn't the young player he once was. I am pretty sure in 10 years time we will be having the same conversation and trying to find out who is going to be classed as a legend. Hopefully by then some of today's team may have lifted some silverware or qualified for the Group Stages of the Europa League. I have deliberately not mentioned Saunder, Page, McHugh and Hutchison of the team as these could be some of the players we are talking about then.

Delighted with the result tonight. Was sitting here in my hotel room in London biting my finger nails. Was chuffed to bits when Gow scored, so much so the whole hotel probably heard me.

According to the BBC Website it's on 810 MW and the BBC Sports Website Clicky

Absolutely delighted with that result today. Just hope they can transfer the away form to Fir Park. Good to see Humphrey's starting to show he can put a decent ball in for our strikers.

Reports suggest that Rangers are waiting for France to confirm they can sign Salim Kerkar who also played in that game I believe.

Casa ain't going to score any goals this weekend. Brown says he's out with a knee knock. From the Official site Best of the Rest

The Clyde site reports this as being on Monday night and closed doors.

If Marky was down at Wigan this morning as per Keevins then surely a deal must be tied up by now.
-
Express is carrying the Wigan story as well.

Taking 400K for Murphy would be daft. I have sneaky feeling that an offer will come in from somewhere today for him but we can't accept that measly amount, let alone allow him to join a rival club if that is what they are offering. Jamie will help make the difference between bottom 6 and top 6 this season.

Too Late, I am sitting outside his front door and I have on my highway mask.

The Sun reporting this as well. For a million squid as well. Clicky

Personally I think we should keep going the way we have with Jack and Victor and bring in Fergie when they retire.
-
Well Done to the lads, a decent effort. Just a shame we can't seem to convert the chances we create.
-
Supposedly they have 130 corporate guests as well.

I'm shitting myself at the minute. I still don't know if I'm going tomorrow yet or not. Been waiting for a months worth of expenses to come through, wouldn't normally be an issue but I haven't worked for the last 2 weeks so ain't getting paid. They were supposed to be paid last Monday, then Friday, then this Monday and I'm still chasing. I am hopeful that it'll be sorted early tomorrow morning and I can get my ticket sorted out. Hoping for a 4-0 lead within the first 20 minutes so we can party for the rest of it. In reality though, a nervy 90 minutes with no finger nails left and a 1-0 win.

As I stay in Cumbernauld,I seen this offer during the close season. As I am not in a position to get a season ticket this season (2nd one in a row) it means I'll be paying in. So bearing in mind that with the 2 Euro ties so far I have spent £40 for the 3 of us (Myself and the 2 boys). Then there's next weeks game takes it to £70 and if I'd been at the Hibs game with the 2 boys I'd have spent over the price of an adult and 2 kids tickets and the season is only a couple of weeks old by the time the next leg comes around. I know they are in the Third Division but that saving on our season ticket and the discounts from the various restaurants\fast food outlets it helps bring back the idea that the football is once again aimed at the paying punters and cheap enough to have a right good family\boys day out. I hope that they attract a good crowd each week but it'll still be Fir Park for me as and when I can.

The thing is legally he's not owed any money. He got his share from the CVA end of. Not saying it's morally correct though. However where he then went onto play shows that we were paying too much for his services anyway. 8 years have now past so learn to live with it and get ion with it. I probably wouldn't mind if he was sticking up for those form the off field side of the business who were on a pittance compared to him but not once has he mentioned them and realised he's probably better off.
-
Apparently all will be paid within 7 days. Going by comments on their board. About half way down here

He better be more like Messi\Ronaldo\Rooney if he's to get through this season without us on his back after this build up.
