The coach who rejected the approaches has now left the boys club. They are a good team and a few of the boys would be able to step up. Hopefully they all get another chance.

Its an 11's team, under 13's. The clubs apparently asked about a few of the boys and the coach said no, without speaking to Parents.

Does anyone know if a Pro Youth team are interested in a player from a boys club, will the parents be spoken to or just the coach.

I would have thought that the days of selling or rather giving our best players to the scum for pennies were long gone. I really hope that we are not willing to sell an International winger, who has the ability to change games for a paltry 200k, especially to either of the scum. It seems that this window might be a bad one for us if anything that has been printed can be believed. To lose Humphrey, Murphy and Hutchy would be a massive blow and could lead to serious problems this season. Especially if we have either limited funds or time to bring in replacements. Brilliant email. Its magic reading honest articulate feedback from the Manager. I have never really understood booing our own players and I am old enough to have watched some who should never have been allowed to wear our strip. I reckon part of the problem of late is that we have been relatively spoiled over the last few years. Some fans expect us to go out and beat everyone, every week. We will have off days but if we can continue to do so and stay at the right end of the league, I can put up with that. Michael Higdon is a good player, with the right support both on and off the park he will score goals and win games. Would be good to see the "ultra" section supporting Higdon and drowning out the boo boys.

There were 3 guys sitting at the back of the. PO'D at Craggs game.1 looked north african maybe morrocan or tunisian. The other 2 were black. No idea if these are the same guys though. I was down at the training with the kids last week and there was no sign of trialists.
