Just curious to see whether a certain section of our support we can rise above gutter level, support MFC for ninety minutes and ignore McCarthy and dispense with the shitey songs that seem to follow the guy wherever he goes. Sections of the media will no doubt be on the alert looking for another stick to beat our support with, lets not give them a helping hand. Or am I asking too much ?

Another one that only sees the bad in players, you mention the miss by Fitzy, but never mention the one Porter missed in the 2nd half. No doubt your one of these that moans for the 90 minutes about Fitzy being in the team, typically you will see yourself as some kind of tactical mastermind as well.

Good stuff Frazzle, a small step but one in the right direction.

I'm not taking Pot shots Rev, Frazzle has stuck his head above the parapet and offered his views and opinions and for that alone I applaude him (too long the Trust has been Faceless). I have already in this topic asked for them to be given time to bring in their own ideas and initiatives and hopefully things will improve, but for me the idea of giving a tenner to an organistion in this position is a deal breaker.

So in essence Frazzle, despite the conflict, you are quite happy to see him as the chairman, you suggest if all the Rose detractors joined we could see him ousted, I would ask you in turn, what changed your opinion on Mr Rose and saw fit to let you ignore the conflict of interest.

I agree totally with what you say Rev, the point i am trying to get across is the Trust has been in existence for 5 years, with various board members being appointed over that time, why has none of the board during that period seen fit to question the position and conflict of Mr Rose, perhaps no one will stand up to him, or as I said, they dont understand the depth of feeling.

Very good Frazzle, your remarks regarding peoples opinion of the position Martin Rose holds within the Trust and the club board are astounding, the man is in a position which no one should hold, how can you or other Trust board members be comfortable discussing Trust business with a member of the club board present. I'm pointing right at the issue, I am criticising but I am offering an alternative, ask Martin Rose to resign his postion within the Trust forthwith. Throughout the existance of the Trust since Mr Rose was appointed to the Club board, this has been a stumbling block for new members and reason for existing members to leave the trust, and yet, no one on the board of the Trust see this as an issue that should be dealt with. I was quite happy to watch and see what improvements would be made to the Trust with the appointment of the new guys, but alas, the more things change the more they stay the same. Either your being niave Frazzle or you dont understand the depth of feeling, but as I have stated before, as long as M Rose is on the board of the Trust, I will never join and I'm afraid there are many more like me.

I think to be fair to the Trust, there are new guys on board who are trying to change things, this will not happen overnight, and to expect it to is being unreasonable. There are many things needing fixed for the Trust to be 'Trusted' if the guys are trying then give them breathing space, if in 3 months time nothing has changed then by all means have your say then

I was most amused at the treatment of what is one of the most problematic issues surrounding the Trust "I understand the Martin Rose argument" A one liner then move on quickly to more of what we hope to do. As far as I'm concerned there are many potential members watching and waiting to see the 'Rose' Issue resolved, and until it is resolved then thats exactly what they will be Potential members. You can have as many objectives, rebranding, kiosks etc as you choose, but until this one glaring issue is fixed, you can forget me and many others joining.

FFS the Well trust..erm no I dont think they are the answer, they remind me of an organisation of bureaucrats to concerned not to offend anyone they are almost toothless. This would take an awful lot on the part of the club to agree to recognise such a person, given the paranoia that surrounds MFC and anything they do that the fans criticise, the last thing the JB mafia would want is a straight talking supporter telling them how it is. Great Idea, something we could do with badly, but not sure the club are ready for it.

Thought O'Brien did pretty well yesterday and will only get better, deffo worth a run in the side.

Quinn thrived with the captaincy, where as it looks like the role does not quite suit Lasley as he has looked a bit subdued of late. Definately a good call to have coach reinstalled as Skipper.

I believe its a wind up on P&B to see how many soft gits on there take the bait.

Remember recently the Booing of Ebuoe by the Le Arse fans, Sky Sports et al, interviewed all kinds of managers and players after that episode and all to a man agreed its the worst thing their own fans can do, totally destroys an already fragile confidence, some suggested it also makes some players screw up even more by trying too hard. This business of you pay your money has went too far IMO, its went from general criticism to personal insults. I'm not suggesting that we all sign up to the Happy clappy club, but we need to be careful to remember when to draw the line. On the subject of the Well boys, I sat next to them on sat at NDP, sang non stop and they genuinely seemed to be having a grand old time, one wee thing however, one guy sat near the back and every other comment he made was sectarian abuse aimed at McCarthy, and another very young looking fellow seemed to take offence at the Black players Accies had. This is two guys out of I dont know how many, but bear in mind it only takes a small number for them all to be tarred by the same brush.

If MMG is going to continue with Ports and Sutton in the absence of Clarky, I would deffo agree with O'Brien and DLS as wingers, too many on here have been quick to dismiss O'Brien without the guy being given a decent run. At least by giving him a start it gives us a better look at him.

Harsh it may seem, I agree that Saunders has played well, but i think Coach is the better player and knows how to battle and scrap for points.

Sadly I dont think they really believe people wont boycott the season tickets. There has been the usual sales pick ups year after year, and Boyle and his inept staff bank on the blind loyalty, something seems to have changed this season however and if they dont get things sorted out, they may find that the loyaltly of a blind kind has evaporated.
