stuff 3rd.... second is there for the taking!!!!!
As said before anything above 12th will do me but top 6 is there for the taking, if we can keep up this run of taking points from games.
Hamilton, falkirk, killie have shown nothing special and i think they will fight out the bottom 3. the teams above them could finish anywhere.
I think this team could be really scary going forward when slane gets in the team, we just need a striker.

came on against St Johnstone and looked great, against killie just didn't perform, then on saturday he looked good going forward.
I think him and the big french guy could do a fair bit of damage down the right, if only Forbes and Coke send the ball out that way. time and time again against rangers and hibs yass was all on his own only for the ball to come too late.

can't see it being a million. It is more likely to be a maximum of 250k they will be looking for and if he is coming out of contract then it is probably more like 100-150k they will take for him.
That is more like the kind of figure we would agree to pay.
Might be on my own with this but i would prefer to see him signed up ahead of O'Brien and coke. Just imagine going back to having Fraser in goals... he looked petrified against the Albanian mob and we were 7 goals up!!!

work with a few hibs fans and they don't rate their chances much. they think they are really poor at the back and will struggle.
on the other hand, we had a really tough 120 mins on Tuesday so that might be a leveller.
still i am blinkered and there will only be one winner... 2-1 Forbes, lucas - stokes

Would love to see us keep him for longer too but at this rate someone with more cash will buy him from Everton in January.
I am sure there was something mentioned that we have agreed a fee for him if we would like to keep him, so i guess we are first in line.

Funny thing, it's not about results for me. just watching them play football how it should be played is enough. We are talking about a bunch of players who last year were turning out for the u19's and reserves and here they are in the first team looking like they are seasoned pro's.
Who would have thought a manager losing a player through injury would still leave his best (imo) defender on the bench because he played during the week and stick another youth player in against the champions
Hat's off to gannon, he has built a team that was destroyed and in no time at all got them playing his way.
fingers crossed we can get a few more through the gate and supporting his team.

McHugh is already on a 3 year contract from the start of this season buddy! I work with his uncle and he told me he loves Motherwell and the whole set up.
Glad to hear it, mchugh is one of the less well known of the lads that have broken through this year but after his performance against st johnstone his future is just as bright as Forbes and co.

no be long until we have players actually wearing nappies... the average age of this team is dropping like a stone...... but it certainly is exciting stuff.
Jim will know these guys really well so there is no real gamble in bringing them in, i am just amazed that we are splashing out a bit of cash!!!
he said we were getting a right back, and if jim said it you can bet it will happen.
on a side note, how good were the kids that joined celtic's no chance of ever playing squad???

I am very happy with the work he did at fir park, but he is gone now. So lets get one over the fucker!!!!!! Jim Gannon seems a far better tactial manager than McGhee (based on his first few games) McGhee would never have change his tactics to combat 1 player (Kyle), well he would have but not until the 70th minute and after he had scored a few goals. Gannon has also used his contacts and knowledge to bring players in instead of McGhee who talked about it.

there are a bunch of folk who stand at the back 2 rows at the edge of the second section as you enter the east stand and if you want talking pish.. try sitting near there.
the surprise i got at the full time whistle.... folk booing a win!!!!! it wasn't the best performance but 3 points is 3 points.
