  1. Fucking hell, Rangers 7/5. Can't resist that. Get the Well Society purse on it.
  2. Looks like Ojamaa was on a scouting mission at Ibrox today...
  3. We have lost a fair bit of momentum this week. Had we been going into the Rangers game neck and neck with them, I suspect those who usually steer clear of such games would have turned up this time. Meanwhile, Easter Road on Easter Sunday with live tv hardly lends itself to a decent turnout.
  4. Few weeks ago I was well up for this. Since then we have racked up a few poor performances while Rangers are squirming their way out of bother. Would love to see us dominate them but I can't see it. 0-3.
  5. Yes he does. Sorry I was talking about the squad in general. We tend to hit a dip when we open up contract negotiations.
  6. He's naturally a midfielder, just not good enough to play in midfield at this level. Makeshift right-back. Does a solid job.
  7. Hateley should be saying anything on twitter. Sounds like something is not quite right behind the scenes. Contract negotiations?
  8. Not being at the races when we have a £1 mil carrot dangling in front of us is not good enough.
  9. I heard Craigan and Young during the week on this very subject, neither of them were convincing. Wellfan1984 is on the money, as usual.
  10. Shocking to drop 3 points today in the manner we reportedly did. It doesn't take much for our players to get ahead of ourselves.
  11. 1. Champions League group stages 2. Scottish Cup 3. Champions League Qualifier 4. Europa League group stages 5. League Cup
  12. I've slated Shiels in recent months but full credit to him. Performances and results at Ibrox and Hampden were outstanding. Few managers could instill such belief in their players to pull off such unlikely results. The more managers we have willing to take the big teams on, the better.
  13. Fuck all is likely to change unless a Rangers newco is begging for an spl share.
  14. League Cup Winners v Champions League elect. 'mon the diddly teams.
  15. Given the apparent effort to hit the initial 250k, I remain sceptical. Maybe businesses will start investing in the £25K package once the initial target has been hit though.
  16. If Saunders recovers from his injury he will be well in the mix to be a 1st choice centre half next season, while Clancy is surely a shoe-in for a new contract. Next week, 3 points are a must at Rugby Park as they have little to play for. Unbelievable that we haven't scored against them this season. Hutch and Clancy to come in for the two lads that deputised so well. 2-0 'Well.
  17. Came away from a midweek Celtic game at FP thinking that we had won 2-1. It wasn't until I got back to the horseshoe, I found out that an early Scott McDonald goal had been disallowed.
  18. Is it possible that we could go into the Rangers game at FP whereby a Rangers win would clinch the title for Celtic?
  19. I wouldn't take a draw either. I expect a positive reaction from last weeks disappointment. If we can get a grip of the midfield this time, they shouldn't get too many opportunities to impose themselves on or makeshift defence. Important that we don't lose any ground on Rangers.
  20. This is a conplete one off. I don't think an hour goes by at work without the champions league getting a mention. Enjoy it while we can.
  21. A year ago he was outstanding in the Dundee United replay and then done not too badly at Hampden. So he doesn't always go missing in the big games. Like anyone I'm frustrated that he hasn't consistently lived up to his potential but he is still a talented boy. A lack of confidence seems to hold him back as much as anything and that is partly down to him getting played out of position for 3 years. He seems to be in the same boat as Reynolds when it comes to getting stick on here. As it happens, I thought Reynolds coasted through the game on Sunday. Hammell was also subject to similar criticism before leaving for Southend. Maybe murphy is just cut out for playing at this level. If that's the case, I'd be delighted to see him stay and score 10-15 goals a season.
