+1. This is one of the better Celtic teams to come to FP in recent years but I fancy us to run them close as long as some of our key figures manage to shake off knocks.

Absolutely detested Boyle during his early years in charge but he ploughed an immense amount of money into the club and my faith was restored in him when he took the Cooper away from the Old Firm. This summer it was clear to me that his interest had jaded as he was unwilling to invest in a striker that would have took us by Odense and into a lucrative and prestigious phase of our history. The concern for me now is Derek Weir. Motherwell fan, articulate, experienced and incredibly well spoken but his grand plan seems a rather far fetched and lacks any genuine substance. For a club that was scraping the bottom of the barrel in the summer for a shirt sponsor, I fail to see where any significant local investment is going to come from.

I really like McCall. Got it wrong last night by relying on that humpty Humphrey but it's post match interview was very refreshing. Really feel like we are heading for a Butcher/McLean type era where we will regularly lose games we are expected to win but cause a few upsets along the way. I wouldn't be surprised if we run a very good Celtic team close on Sunday.

First time in years I've enjoyed listening to a game on the radio. Really fancied us pre-match and I'm delighted with the way it turned out. Chuffed to read such good reviews on Forbes, always said he is one of the most gifted players at the club. Really hope he can win a few folk over at Fir Park in the upcoming home games. Under McCall I get the impression that we will be far from consistent however we will have the spirit and belief to pull off a few upsets along the way. Wee bit too young to remember us being relegated but I do remember watching France 98 thinking to myself that next time we qualify, I'll be old enough to go. I think it is the sense of unfulfillment with Scotland that keeps me hooked. While with Motherwell, nothing will ever beat May 91 for me.

Had this debate on a number of occassions. And as I've said before, I'd happily trade off Motherwell being relegated in order to see Scotland get to a World Cup again.

That's my concern. I don't think he has been fully fit since he arrived at Arsenal. Very surprised he was offered a contract prior to a trial. In saying that I'm happy to give him a chance, if he can some reasonable level of fitness than he will score poacher type goals.

There is no chance of relegation. Next season however, I'm quite excited about the prospect of a relegation battle.

Casagolda doesn't resemble a professional footballer for me. Shite timing, shite positioning, lack of co-ordination. Can't believe anyone thinks he had a better game than Murphy.

No for me. Would cost a fair whack and it would take him a while to get his fitness, if ever. Now that we have missed out on the window, attention has to turn to nailing 1 or 2 quality pre-contract deals.
