  1. Fuck sake I want to see Motherwell come out a wee egg on its own.
  2. Fingers crossed for an Irish or Welsh team as it's the only way I'll make it.
  3. Played well today but he's a crock. If we want to bring in an experienced head there are far better options out there.
  4. Pretty sure he featured on blue heaven when he was a kid. RB I gather but done a decent job as a holding midfielder against Dundee in the Cup. Farmed out to Accies in the past, not sure if he featured there.
  5. To be fair it was Andy Ross that drew my attention to it but very good point indeed. Loving the idea of Rangers at FP on Boxing Day. Fine memories. Just hope this good weather keeps up...
  6. Just hope the opening game doesn't fall on a Monday.
  7. You wouldn't let him shag yer missus if he was to sign a permanent deal?
  8. Agreed, if he was anywhere near the level of Craig Gordon he would have been running Tim Howard close for the No.1 jersey. From what I've heard he is a pretty decent keeper and I'm surprised that he hasn't been loaned out to the SPL in all the years he has been in Everton reserves.

    Hateley

Still think we will be looking for a right back.
  10. Fair play mate, spot on. Couldn't see this coming.

    Hateley

Shocked on two counts. First, I thought his future was elsewhere. Second, we have managed to nail him down to a 3 year contract. Tremendous work Motherwell!
  12. Underwhelmed by the home strip, appreciate that it will appeal to the traditionalist though. Personally, I'd have liked a change of design given what we had last season. As for the away, I love it. Always loved plain away strips and think it will look pretty classy on the pitch. As has been said many times over, the sponsor could well make or break the kits. Looking forward to seeing what else the Puma range has to offer.
  13. Think Brown is saying the right things as usual. WIsh we would just cut our ties with Coke and Hateley though.
  14. Does league reconstruction kick in the following season? If so, we won't be alone in cutting back.
  15. Did Brown not announce that he was content with budget? Jack Ross is on his way.
  16. Exactly. Having worked with him for a season, Stewart Kerr has clearly seen some potential in Hollis. We just have to wait and see if he gets the opportunity to fulfil his potential. It will be interesting to see if he starts the season as 2nd or 3rd choice keeper. If Fraser goes, and he will, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 more keepers arrive.
  17. Airdrie boy in. Fraser on his way out? Ruddy still a possibility. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...&Itemid=134
  18. Presume you will be there? Thinking about coming along...
  19. Given that Brown will be heading away on WC duty later this week, I'd be hoping for some activity this week. Could be difficult though with many players likely to be on holiday. I imagine our youngsters are once agaon going to have to play a key role in our European adventure. On a sidenote, I clocked that Hibs signed yet another keeper yesterday and then discovered that Yves Ma-Kalamby has been released. Wonder if he is on the radar of any SPL clubs...
  20. The SPL are prone to turning fixture lists upside down are they not? Wouldn't be surprised if we start at Home to Celtic.
  21. Stevie Smith signs for Norwich. Hopefully he wasn't one of Broon's SPL targets.
  22. No need to right off Forbes at the moment, I think he will come good again. Of the out of contract players mentioned I'd happily take Morias and Dorman. More likely to be Jack Ross and maybe one of the Killie boys.
  23. Happy to see Fitzpatrick stay. If fit, he will win a contract extension no bother. Shame, DLS couldn't have been given the same offer. Given that most contracts tend to run out at the end of May, I imagine we will here more about Coke & Hateley in the coming week.
  24. League reconstruction will save us. To be honest, Fraser appears to be on too much dough to be regarded as a backup keeper. So unless we can get shot of him, I think we are stuck with the prospect of him being our No.1 next year.
