  1. If we get him signed up and he stays fit, he has the makings of a fans favourite. Gives his all and is tidy with the ball.
  2. I'm bemused by how most of you are happy to accept £500k. Without doubt, he 's a million pound player in my book, even with just 12 months left on his contract. Remember how much Lee Miller went for in Jan!? With regards the rumours, I'd be delighted for Reynolds if he was to get a move to PSV. I think he would develop well in Holland and the fact that such a prestegious club are reportedly interested is an added bonus.
  3. Poor pitches blamed for Hibs poor run: http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/sport/Dere...ches.6126434.jp Sounds like their pitch is almost as bad as ours.
  4. Forgot about big Sheridan being up against us tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised if he scores. Just got a niggling fear about our defence tomorrow given that Craigan has been away with N.Ireland this week.
  5. I'd have Reynolds in at left back before Wallace.
  6. Just take it one game at a time. After this weekend, we could be a point off 3rd at best or 6 points off 4th at worst.
  7. Due to St Mirren being in the League Cup Final mate. I parked at B&Q last time.
  8. McGlinchy and Rory Fallon going to the World Cup
  9. Precisely my prediction sadly. Just think we are overdue a kick in the baws and we may pay for Craigan being on international duty this week. 1-0 Davidson.
  10. As someone else said, this was as much down to Leitch as McGhee.
  11. A player a took a shine too straight away when he was getting stick from certain sections of our support. Quality player, true professional. However, I do think he was a tad overrated in the end.
  12. This run is too good to be true. Hibs dropping 2 points keeps us right in the race for Europe. Massive game up at Perth next week.
  13. Very surprised it has been overturned. Wasn't entirely sure at the time but I don't know how they can back down from a red when you see the video evidence. As much as he is a talented player, Miller has a nasty wee streak in him.
  14. Agreed. I like Hately a lot but he is miles off being a Paul Hartley.
  15. Folk involved in constructing our new pitch should be ashamed of themselves.
  16. Aye, his howler at Ibrox could be a blessing in disguise. If MacGregor goes, I think Rangers will be quite content to have Alexander as their No.1. Talking of goalies, I've heard Craig Gordon will be back in the SPL next season with Celtic.
  17. I love to see Humphrey coming on but I wouldn't start him yet, he's a good card to have up our sleeve. Don't think Murphy should be dropped, it's a tough call for Brown. I would be tempted to make a change in midfield though by resting Lasley and putting Coke in the middle, Forbes on the left. Although I doubt Brown will make any changes in the centre of midfield until we lose a game. 1-1 Sutton, Bryson.
  18. Spot on. Sometimes he can look a bit overwhelmed in a game but when he gets his tail up, he is a joy to watch. Really deserves a run in the team now.
  19. Could we be sued if an opposition player picks up a serious injury due to the state of the pitch? Or does the referee's decison to play the game prevent the club from being liable? I fear it's only a matter of time. You just need to look at the chunk of ground that comes away from O'Brien when he crosses the ball in for the goal.

    The Duke

Who do you drop? There is part of me that would like to see Sutton playing in behind Juke and Murphy. It would mean sacrificing our width though.
  21. Tattie field is beyond repair in my opinion. Time to move ground.
  22. Would have been more confident had Hibs won last night but now there is the realisation that if we beat Hibs on Saturday, then the race for 3rd place hots up. While Stokes, Riordan and Zemmama have been getting the plaudits this season, the two men that make Hibs tick are McBride and Miller. I think McBride is out so if we can get tight on Miller and nullify his impact, then there is every chance we can win this game. 1-0 'Well Coke.
  23. Scotland come first, without a shadow of a doubt. As much as I love Motherwell, I'd be willing to take relegation in exchange for Scotland qualifying for the World Cup.
  24. In isolation it's a decent point but with Hearts & United winning, while Aberdeen pick up an unlikely point, it's not been the best of days. Particularly with us facing Hibs next week.
