A strong start to the season for us. 3-1 The Well.

Great pre season match. Both sides had a right go and to see that was very heartening, was played like a competitive fixture which can only help for next week. Thought Murphy and Law ran the show at times. Our attacking play at times was fantastic but our defence was a bit shaky at set pieces so I think there could be a few goals next week, not just for us right enough! Thought a draw was the fairest result today but no complaints with the overall performance.

Rangers Celtic Hearts Dundee United Motherwell Hibernian Inverness Kilmarnock Dunfermline Aberdeen St Mirren St Johnstone Celtic vs Rangers in at least one of the finals. Then Hearts or United to win a cup. Craig Brown will need a strong start or hes fucked.

Majstorovic shouldve been sent off twice. John Suttons shinpad ends up around the other side of his leg, no shinpad = broken leg. Then his hand is ABOVE his head when he handballs it, doesnt matter what context we're looking at. Its a yellow card then the red, easy decision. The only reason Craigan wasnt sent off was because of the referees own lack of bottle before hand. I wouldve had no complaints if he had though. Lasley probably wasnt sent off because of Majstorovic's earlier assault aswell.

Sutton was probably saying goodbye after the final today then Ross, Jones, Gunning and Casagolda will leave for definite. I think Craigan and Jeffers might get one year deals then Randolph and Humphrey will leave if the price is right.

Gutted, deflated and drained. Not totally sure about the tactics but the guys done well to get there so wont harass them too much, always next time eh? Would rather have been there today than watching another two teams fight it out. It was a great day out(games and weather apart) but we are Motherwell not of the bigot brothers. The game where Don Goodman scored the winner was an amazing game of football, 2-2 at half time and he scores to make it 3-2 after about 50 minutes. For a televised game shown on a cold, wet Sunday evening in November the place was rocking. Was definately a game to say "I was there". What a game but I do enjoy every time we beat those c***s!!! Hopefully we can do this on Saturday!!!

I thought I was losing my dad to a stroke a couple of years ago, the thought of this game being here and him not being here wouldve been so hard to bare with. He took me to my very first game, the 1991 Cup Final. The man got me hooked, I know hes still here but I'd like to raise a glass to him But also to the players we have lost since and also to every single one of you that have lost a loved one. I hope Motherwell do it for them on Saturday so we can raise a glass and say "We did it!"

I got contacted yesterday through email, can't get a hold of the club this morning right enough. The phone is busy or ringing out. Will I be able to go up and get the tickets?
