I have never cried so much at a football game in my life. Every goal and at the final whistle, a very emotional day. 1991 was my first ever match and hearing my dad speak about it over that time to now I really wanted to experience a Scottish Cup Final. Being there today sharing it with my dad(with both of us in tears) was one of the most wonderful days of my life. Thank you Stuart McCall and the players for giving not just me and my dad but the 7000+ fans that were there today and all the Motherwell fans watching it around the world for a fantastic result and a final to look forward to. Will hopefully be sitting here in 5 weeks time writing the same thing

If Humphrey and Murphy cause havoc down the wings on Saturday itll be a long day for St Johnstone but if they are kept quiet it could be very nervy. 2-0 Motherwell and we'll be on the road to the final

2-1 either way. But with the record we have at home to United this season it could just go our way.

Shite shite shite, very lucky we didn't get hit for at least 5 or 6. Made this shite look like Brazil, pitiful performance. At 1-0 we looked comfortable then as soon as they make it 1 each we fell apart. The second half was as bad as I've seen this season.

What the fuck has happened today! Started so well then lost the goal, that has really took the wind out of our sails. Joke of a penalty but that wouldnt have happened if Randolph had cleared his lines. Randolph and defence for the third was a joke. Top 6 gone? I think if we win our two home games then we should be alright.

If and its a pretty big if, if we play like we did at United last week I don't see why we won't win. Anything other than a win won't be good enough, 1-0 Jeffers.

When does anyone think the prices will be arranged for the game on the 29th? If theres a common sense approach to the prices hopefully there can be a big crowd for this one. Theres been times where we've thought our name could be there on that cup and we've failed miserably. I really fuckin hope this is it, 20 years is so bloody long to wait to win something. I just hope our team can put this long wait for not just a Scottish Cup Final but a trophy to bed. And I agree to an extent if we get to the semis then don't play it at Hampden. I feel we would have a much bigger and better chance of getting to the final if the game is played there. The park is bigger so more space is there for us to exploit. Imagine having Murphy and Humphrey going at the Brechin or St Johnstone defenders at all angles, these teams couldn't cope with that.

Was a fantastic game but gutted we didn't finish them off today. With just about more luck we would've been awaiting the draw with so much anticipation but now its more of a cautious optimism. Onwards and upwards, we will just have to beat them again at Fir Park On one sour note. Me and a young guy were celebrating the first goal, as we were celebrating the goal that jobsworth of a steward supervisor proceeded to tell the guy that he had went onto the park and had him thrown out. No wonder they get it tight all the time, arseholes.

Thought everyone pretty much had a good game but Jeffers was fantastic. Link up play was second to none, its nice to see we have someone else that can do it apart from Sutton.

If we could get a replay then I'd be fairly happy. Already knocked them out of one quarter final at Fir Park so why not again

I agree with your post, abit more support could be shown on here and it very often isn't. The "moaners" do support the team though, they are the ones that also spend their hard earned on games, season tickets, merchandise etc so they have their right to a wee gripe. We'll just have to see what the reaction is on Sunday

Come on now, I think people do have the right to an opinion on here. Weve lost a late goal to lose at home to St Mirren on a cold wet and very miserable night. Are you surprised that people have reacted like this? I don't think opinion wouldve been any different if we had drawn 0-0. We should be beating this shite at home, no wonder people are more than abit pissed off.
