KVV is a striker. Strikers have to have good balls played to them in scoring positions. KVV, Efford and Shields are playing this new '2 in midfield' formation that the manager has come up with on the half way line. In fact, today Efford spend a while clearing up in the left back position (like Tony Watt did early in the season). It doesn't matter if you have the best striker in the world playing for you. If you only ever punt the ball over his head or give him the ball on the half way line, he's not going to score.

Get McGinlay off and put a right back on to protect that wing. Change Donnelly for a more energetic midfielder. The front three are doing OK considering.

For a team with so many defenders on the park, we seem to be leaving them with acres of space in our box.

Alexander's team selections have got more and more bizarre as this run without a win continues. Next week will probably be 7 at the back and three up front, with some extra defenders on the bench in case we need a formation change. FFS, play your best players in their best positions and base your formation on what your players are good at.
