Floodlights are on tonight - looks like they are taking no chances - bring on the shit from St Midden fans on P&B
-
Hugh Dallas supported the "Well when we beat Coventry City in the Texaco cup at Highfield road in the early seventies. He was on the Wishy bus.
-
None of the midfield shone yesterday, there was no room to play and the surface was a joke.
-
Jim is improving every game and did well to last the game after the clatter form the goalie and sheridan has shown already he is very useful.

I am a member of the FPC and have been for over 30 years. I enjoy the company of many other 'Well fans before and after matches and have invited friends who are fans of Hibs,Hearts, Rangers,Celtic, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and other clubs to join me as a guest. Every one of them have commented to me on the hospitality and friendship received in the club and not one has a bad word to say about it. Yes the lager and service in the Cooper are superior and for that reason I have used it pre and post match on many occasions. The FPC "owe" Motherwell FC nothing and I was ashamed at the way they were treated when asked to vacate the main stand premises which they had used and as a consequence financially contributed weekly to the Football Club. Renewing my membership recently cost me 8 quid for myself and my wife, and I am sure the club could do with much more membership income to help them keep their head above water but have resisted the chance to increase annual dues. Just like any other pub or club there are people you would not choose to have in your company but it is still a free country. Pick the pub or club that suits your needs at the time, and lay off people who run a social club which supported MFC from 1966 until they were"asked" to leave.

No lose situation for us as far as I am concerned. The usual suspects have slaughtered Sheridan already, just like Jim O'Brien when he signed for us and had a bit of a slow start. Now the same guys are creaming themselves when he shows a bit of form. Hope the big boy shoves it down their throats. All the best to our new signings.

Paul Quinn refused to be beaten yesterday and that is the attitude we are going to need if we are to climb the table. No failures at all in the squad, but I also thought Hughes was a trier along with O'Brien. A goal for either of them would boost confidence- maybe in the Cup?
-
Jim O'Brien for his continued improvement in form and his engine. Apart from a couple of poor crosses i felthad a good game and is proving a few wrong at the moment..

Just spoken to my mate in Westhill, Aberdeen and he reckons if the weather is as forecast there is a good chance of the game being on. skies look a bit clear but reckons the inspection is to confirm the game as being on, and not to put it off.

I was also sure the ref indicated a throw in to his linesman and yet Falkirk resumed with a free kick leading to their equaliser. Would need to see it again as there was a lot going on in the game around that time. Aye Hughes sure wont be criticising the ref this week - they got away with everything.

Another solid performance and his booking was another baffler from Crawford Allan

Two great clips and spotted a few well kent faces in the crowd. Keep them coming.

I can only guess that they thought if it was postponed on the Sat, it would most likely still be unplayable on the 1st Wed after, so they gave it another week and it still hasn't thawed out. surely if the half decent temperatures continue we will go ahead next week.

4 of the finest goals I've seen in a long time

You made a right good job the last time I met you on a Sunday/Monday! "Get him Feckin oot o here!!!

Anyone know yet why our re arranged tie is a week later than the others??
-
I enjoyed the game and thought we could have had a couple more if we stopped trying to walk the ball in, or trying fancies at the wrong time. The likes of Jim O'Brien will come on a mile after such a game and it's always good to beat the Jambos. Patter was great in the Leccy post match - left Wullie Midlothian speechless.
-
Hypothetically agreed. Whats the chances of getting into the Royal British Legion Club?
-
Jim O'Brien for giving 100%, as stated elsewhere winning over the boo boys and the stupid.
-
See the pictures on the offishul site and I think you can make your own mind up. Game on.
-
Another must win as far as I am concerned - points needed and a boost for all before the cup tie on Saturday.
-
Klimpl for me and regarding Jim O'Brien, thought he improved again, and was the most fouled player on the park. Had the beating of Ross but St Midden ganged up on him at times. Well done for sticking at it, we have still to see the best of him.
-
Lets go and spoil the party, we're good at that sort of result. Same starting line up as last week and straight at them before they settle as their minds will be on the other distractions of the day.
-
Looks like we're getting another couple of hundred tickets - on sale at Love St tomorrow.
