Think he’s a good player but I’ve a niggling doubt over him as I heard he was released by Hamilton for what was rumoured to be his attitude - maybe time in the 1st division has changed that . Morton fan at work rates him. Although ive not seen his, his brother is also supposed to be a good player and is still at Hamilton is he not?

Would be happy if we signed him. Looked like he was heading down south start of last season but a mediocre season may have put paid to that. Hopefully if we sign him he can kick on again.

Looks a good signing who should improve the quality of our squad. Only 22 years old and an internationalist, so hopefully will still develop more and be a sellable asset.

Having worked down there and up here I can assure you that there are as many roasters up here as there are in England - a fair section of the knuckle dragging OF fans for a start.

Celtic fan was showing me a Celtic fan forum where they were talking about them putting together a £2m bid for him. Can’t see it - told him it was an attempt to disrupt our preparations by getting it picked up by the media - but if true and Celtic are willing to pay that money who else might be?

Auto type or total balls up I’m not sure but yes Higdon is who I meant. As I said I’m not sure of him at the moment but his form at Kilmarnock says that he can score goals.

I’d like to see us getting another striker in the Higgins mould. Have always thought that Connor Sammon might fit this bill but after his indifferent season at Thistle I’m not so sure but if he’s released by Hearts is he worth a punt as a spare striker? I’d imagine that at 31, he won’t be too expensive a wage.

Don’t get the Tom Boyd hate thing. He played well for us and has since talked shit - not the first and won’t be the last to do that.

Ciftci is a difficult one, the guy has talent but apart from Utd he has failed to show it on the park. Signing him would be a big risk and I doubt on his past experience, that we would find it difficult to sell him on as other managers would look at what he done at Celtic and believe it too much of a risk
