  1. I’ve heard that the strip is kind of like a continual blend of our colours merging whatever the hell that means… maybe that’s like amber flowing gradually down into claret or the other way round sounds interesting anyway
  2. One other thing to add is that Wimmer has landed a likely higher salaried job. ChatGPT estimates their turnover at 15-20 million euros and were in the German championship albeit relegated. Maybe like Plymouth equivalent of Germany. But Motherwell can be a stepping stone especially in the UK.
  3. I'd really be sounding out Ahmet now - to continue what we had started. Time would be on our side to get recruits in. Players know him and presuming they like him.
  4. I'm surprised Tom Sparrow flies so below the radar - 31 appearances this season and busts a gut in every one He's popped up with a few goals too!
  5. Chilvers is an excellent player but badly injured.....fully fit he's top notch
  6. I always check the forums of the teams when we sign players. Carlisle like us, usually, played one up top and Armstrong struggled. But they said he did much better on the times when they played two up. Queue - two goals up front last night as part of a two.
  7. Yup you are correct. I changed from "relevant comments" to "all comments" and I can see what you are seeing. Even Facebook must know irrelevant comments and keep it off my feed Crazy stuff
  8. Ah I see! I was wondering - I think I'll avoid that then! I wouldn't give it long before it crosses the stream to the official site anyways
  9. where? I've read every single comment on Motherwell FC's Facebook for the last week and not one single person has said this. I mean some of the players don't fair well and there is grumbles - but there is no one calling for him to be sacked.
  10. Great point and highly doubt it. Captain and a Vice Captain there. We can add Koutroumbis, Wilson, Balmer, Nicholson, Robinson to the back ups. I don't think anyone's "pant wetting" - but points like Melvin's are here to be discussed. That's likely to be a good bit of budget spent on these two as examples and it's clear Wimmer needs to bring in quality - as there isn't enough of it in our massive 34 man squad.
  11. So far I have heard with posters we should keep O'Donnell McGinn Halliday Watt Slattery Casey Paton So what changes for next season?
  12. Yet in the ins and outs every contract dished out seems to be regarded positively. More of this to come then......
  13. Can whoever wins the left back spot on the "live the dream" competition by the Well Society take over from Dom Thompson please
  14. How come? Injury? not enough game time?
  15. A couple of people have mentioned the word battle. I think if there's one team that battle doesn't apply to in this league is St Johnstone and I doubt the game will play out that way. Their celtic game victory was backs to the wall but that's a different thing.
  16. At this stage of the season I feel it's best if we can send some inspectors to Falkirk to see what's wrong with their stadium just to give us some comfort.
  17. Spot on - Oxborough and Wilson, for two. Wilson lost a lot of confidence but he is here to stay. That confidence won't grow sitting on the bench as an unused sub.
  18. About 15 players will leave so it will be a new team. If it was the same.....sure, but there will be hopefully a vast difference!
  19. Bang on. Everyones team selection barring mine (I had davor) had him it. He looks totally lost. At least Davor gets involved.
  20. Quoting my own post - O'Donnell and Halliday fans specifially. PS: O'Donnell was fine today but we need a complete overhaul.
  21. It's really simple - we don't have the players. We are not missing anyone that can change a game in an attacking sense for us barring A.P God even bring back Robinson! Think I've just made an argument to my own question! What I mean is - the subs and squad we have just now - there's not one bright spark. Frustrates me how specific supporters are wanting extensions and longer term deals for absolute mediocrity at best.
  22. team! Oxborough O'Donnell Casey Balmer Wilson Davor Miller Slattery Sparrow Maswanhise Armstrong
  23. Yeh I'd have to agree - when it comes to the final - I wouldn't be able to cope with them actually winning it.
