On a related note, how long is it since we've had players capable of controlling passes like that with a single touch?! Must have noticed it half a dozen times today, makes such a difference when you're getting the basics right.
Aye, the 7 or 8 big switches across the park worked absolute wonders and they were all taken down brilliantly with one touch. Some of the vision for the passes was outstanding as well.

Why did O'Brien take the pen anyway. There were more players to take it... wonder if he thought how good it would be, since its welll known who his "real" is...
Oh I wonder. Or mibbe it's because he's came so close the last few games, hitting the bar and post and giving away the penalty to Steua Bucharest. All this despite frequently being one of the best players on the pitch. He wears his heart on this sleeve and you can see from his reactions on the pitch how desperate he is to make a real impact for the team and he obviously saw this as his big chance. Gutted that he missed and gutted for him.

Moutaouakil for me. Composure under pressure was fantastic and look's like he'll be able to make that wing his own in future games. Other mentions would be O'Brien who I thought we didn't use enough, Ruddy, Coke and Hately. Thought Hammel contributed his bit anaw, good to see.

I dont know if im going pathalogically insane, the score and phrase "Motherwell 3 - 1 Rangers" has been bouncing inside my heed for days now.
So, 3 - 1 Motherwell it is for me.
Weird. I had a dream this morning that we beat them 3-1. 3-0 up at one point as well!

Also, i've heard first hand plenty of times, chants of "wee boys...ye only shag wee boys...ye only shag wee boys...." towards Celtic fans from ourselves, United fans, Hearts fans and Falkirk fans (others might sing it as well, but those are the only other teams games i've been to).
Not debating whether it's right or wrong.....but why highlight it this time? What's the difference?
The context isn't the same. I think your example can pass as shite playground patter directed at a group of supporters. The intensity and venom directed at one man turns it into a very personal attack and that's what people have found so shocking.

it's time this thread got sent to the HOTD its starting to get a bit out of line to call some1 a paedo isnt nice and after all a lot of us 'Well fans take our kids to Motherwell games and i for one do not want to explaine to my child what a paedo is.

Sorry to start another thread on this but I'm looking for conformation to show some pals of mine that yesterdays chants have been generally condemned by the 'well support. I'm not talking about the alleged 'fneineaein' ones because it appears that's a figment of media wishful thinking. Rammies and petty name calling should maybe be kept in the other thread.

Is it just me, or are less folk making the trip than I would have imagined.
Seems to have been a lack of chat about going up there.
No real surprise when you consider the travelling the support have done in the last 2 months as well as the 3 home European ties which were an expense on top of season tickets. True it might be another biggy when you consider the circumstances but I think a lot of people will see this as one they can afford to miss. Add that to the fact that it's near the end of the month and everyone is skint.

He's not actually agreed to it yet though has he? I think Gannon will be quite influential in convincing the younger guys to stay. I really like how Gannon talks about the club with the future in mind, and I'm not talking 2 seasons. He's mentioned aspirations for the club 4 or 5 years down the line on a number of occassions I imagine a lot of the younger players might want to be part of that.

Anyone who thinks a quick rinse under warm water is 'washing' their hands of wee tiny beasties is seriously misinformed. Washing without soap actually just makes yer hands a nice warm damp spot for germs to settle.
And see when the big troughs flush, that fires an explosion of microbes into the air. Oh, and see that smell of shite when ye fart? That's airborne shite particles going up yer nose.
We come out these places covered in shite and piss whether we like it or not so anyone moaning that the taps don't work has relying on them for nothing but a false sense of security.
I'm maybe a bit biased mind you, considering I love a bit of the scat and watersports. Might explain why I spend more time hanging around in the toilets than watching the game.
