  1. Nothing wrong with it. he was onside when the first shot was made then blocked and quite rightly picked up the rebound. so two perectly good goals been chopped off us in recent games. hope league position doesn't come down to goal diffirence!
  2. No, if two of the teams in the top four of the SPL contest the scottish cup, then the euro spot from that goes to 5th in the SPL
  3. yeah, with a threat of expulsion from the league now with the spl telling them that that cannot continue.
  4. I'm just surprised MJC predicted a win in the first place!!!
  5. ah! your right. I think I counted the game v utd on the 30th Dec! ooops!
  6. see just to pour some cold water on this a bit... I reckon Rangers have 21 points and would be above us on goal diffirence. I don't think the table above counts the rangers celtic game on the 28th feb.
  7. Thats fair enough, but these guys aren't the police. they couldn't even pass that "police test ..1...2...3...4..." that they do at the ground every game....
  8. I'm not entirely conviced that these people have the right to "pat you down" before allowing you into the ground. Can you imagine having some grubby steward touching you up before you got into see a movie? I can picture it now..."before you come in, I get to run my hands all over you". pervs.
  9. fox Ache. seriously. come on tae grips.
  10. I vote our "home" games (should they be moved) be played at either Killie or St Mirren......

    McGlinchey?

I am sure there are more than 7 points available to play for.. no?
  12. Yep, good luck Darren. hope it's the making of you!
  13. I was never a big fan, but I was looking forward to seeing him play today. Really hope he makes it as he seems like a decent bloke.
  14. Rubbish. Brown was told to act as if he were in permanant employment. Which chairmen are you refering to and what is it that they do specifically? Vlad? is that the kind of thing you are after? Anyway, if JB feels that there are people at the club that can handle the day to day running better than he can, then fair play to him. oh dear. you better hope JB doesn't read that or you could be in bother! Why? What burning questions do you have that you just need to get the answer from JB himself?
  15. It doesn't matter that its hardly been used. It's the fact that it has been down to -15c, its been covered for 3 weeks, Undersoil heating being on (ok that may have been a mistake....) and with the new drainage the water is just rushing through the soil since the grass root structure is not yet fully established. hey, sh1t happens.

My money is on it being "New Fir Park" by then! (Sorry, didn't mean to take it off topic)

I seem to remember someone posting that they had met him on the day of the Phil tribute match and he had said that he would like to come back and finish his career at FP.
  18. Expensive to install and run. plus all it would take is for a server to crash / power fault at the turnstyle and we are all stuck outside missing the kick off.
  19. it was on the many "whats happening at fir park" leaflets that were all over the place.
  20. Giving money to another club? nah.
  21. The only way to make it farer is to make every game on TV pay per view only and the cost should be only a few pounds cheaper than it would be to get into the stadium with 50% of the cost paid directly to the home team. so say we charge £20 for a ticket, tv match price would be say £16, £8 of that would go direct to the club. Anyway, other than that, the match ticket prices are too high and need to be reduced accross the board. not just one or two clubs, but every member team of UEFA needs to agree and stick to a price. Even Formula 1 who have been one of the biggest spenders in sport are now cutting costs and prices!
  22. so he does! brilliant! about 2:33 in for those that want a look!
  23. how was Fitzy when he came on? did he look ok?
  24. That argument only holds up if you think Paul Slane is too good for Motherwell. Anyway, its all only rumour. lets wait till we see what happens. for what its worth, from what i saw of him in the euro games, i think he is a decent young player. If he stays here he will most likely play regular games. if he goes to the OF now then he will most likley be a bench warmer at best.
