  1. Not bad.. Wasteful in possession at times, Hughes being the main culprit of giving it away. Slow start from Maros as well, struggling to get his usual physical game going (perhaps the mis-timed challenge after 3mins has to do with this). But, very little to split the two sides, possibly one of the most even first halfs you will see. Not one clear cut chance for either side, bar perhaps O'Brien at the back post if that can be considered a chance. Dealt with Mehmet quite well, whereas Sheridan at the other side has looked a handful for Potter and Cuthbert. Barron at LB looks a complete bombscare and should be pressed and harried at every opportunity. Pretty drab, but a scrappy one goal is all that matters if it comes..
  2. Surely with the worst of the weather seemingly over, and it approaching March and thus Spring-time and warmer conditions. Surely, the chances of another postponement will get slimmer by the day.. Just a case of how much the park is going to dig up, as well we all saw what a poor condition it is in on Sat. So, fortunately we could well escape this with fuck all of a fine... can't complain.
  3. No, that only applies if he has been capped at a lesser level, but AFAIK he has been capped at all levels of Irish football U17,18,19 and 21 level. Which means he is unable to change now.
  4. Nah Airfinz, no turning back now for McCarthy, he is stuck with his choice of ROI.
  5. It was indeed Inverurie who had refused, Motherwell tried several times and several ways in order to get there fans a refund, even going via the SFA to sort it out. MFC did try there best (albeit with the lack of accurate communication). Despite being refused, MFC pressed ahead and let there fans receive refunds without permission of the Loco's. All tickets were then returned to Loco's.
  6. He was videod in a Motherwell Motorola shirt a few years back. Hardly class him as a Motherwell fan, think he just happened to wear the shirt rather than who it represented. I'm probably wrong mind you..
  7. Seeing as people are doing predictions.. Mine shall be.. 'Well or St Mirren vs Celtic Airdrie or Dunfermline vs Rangers or Forfar Hamilton vs Inverness Falkirk vs Aberdeen or East Fife
  8. Exactly, a recent match between Sevilla and Racing Santander, in which the entire Sevilla fans completely vocal throughout the match, consistantly getting behind their team and encouraging them, despite a very poor performance and nobody would have blamed them if they had been disgruntled throughout the game. But, they kept their criticism for the final whistle where there was a barrage of boo's and criticism directed at the players/management. Totally the correct way to go, support during the match, as there is plenty of time afterwards to criticise and show your unhappiness at what was witnessed.
  9. Regardless of who it was that got the final "assist", it does show that O'Brien created at least 2 out of the 3. Which contradicts the claims that he has "no end product". His delivery at times is indeed woeful, but at times last year as was McCormack's, numerous times per game he would hit the wall or first man, but Roscoe was also capable of that moment of brilliance, and as does J.O'B, fair enough 9 times out of 10 his delivery may well be gash, but as long as that one other time is pinpoint then that's what matters (assuming we have someone to capitalise on the good delivery). Incidentally went for Clarky, had such a first half chasing everything down (as per usual) as he little or no support, then on the 2nd half looked much more of a threat with a presence beside him. Also had the assist for Hughes goal (albeit with Sheridan's help). Tireless performance.
  10. Is it not the case of Sky are allowed one match and one replayed match? So, surely they would still show the re-scheduled match of Forfar-Rangers as well as potentially ours, as we were the only match to draw and thus earning a replay? Unless that is Sky are holding off, on the off-chance that Forfar or East Fife get replays against Rangers or Sheep respectively?
  11. How about the 3 assists for all 3 of our goals against Inverurie, yes it may only have been Inverurie, but picked out his men each time.
  12. Re: The Transfer talk of Pearson. According to the BBC Gossip Column: Still reckon that another Championship/League 1 club would take the chance on him, but if he is feeling homesick and wants to return back home, can't see too many places he could end up... either us, Hearts or Hibs or perhaps United.
  13. Thank fuck for that, was a tad worried, already got my train ticket paid for, travelling tonight. Relief.
  14. Yeah, certainly one of the most inept refereeing displays I have seen was against Hearts at FP early last season. Disgraceful. Ironically was then handed our next match against Falkirk away. He's a fud, and as far as I am concerned, right up there along with McDonald and Brines. In his defence though, he did referee the Rangers-Celtic (McDonald screamer of a goal game) extremely well, and got all decisions spot on.
  15. Thing is, if Sheridan fails to perform in training etc, then he will not start. McGhee is rather fair and willing to give players a chance. I mean Jim was his signing and he had to wait 6 months before his first start, because clearly he wasn't showing enough in training. Not to mention Boab is sitting in the stand/dugout, and both of which are McGhee's signing. And Boab is regarded as a "star signing" due to the wages involved. He has no hesitation in keeping them out of the team. So, just because Sheridan is borrowed from his mate and comes from "big" Celtic, doesn't necessarily mean he is an automatic start. So, he will be fair and if Sutton shows more in training he will certainly start. I mean Las (fans favourite) has to make do on the bench, McGhee shows that he doesn't give a toss about what the fans think, he will certainly play his strongest team and if Sheridan is that option then he will be.. Only thing to contradict that is well him persevering with Hughes the entire season when most of which he has been properly off-form. See what happens, we can't complain that we have strength in depth, I mean from now on we are gonna have first team players fit that can't make the bench. With 7 places to fill we have a core if 9 players vying for those spaces: Krysiak DLS Lasley Malcolm Semih Sheridan McGarry Murphy McLean
  16. As probably noted in my other thread, and just to document it further. But, the Inverurie Refund fiasco, and the FACT that Club Employee's gave out information leading fans to believe that they had several days to collect their refund, where in fact they had 6.5hrs from the game being on to collect it, this information only coming to light the day after the deadline. Clicky
  17. As Robyn says, I have emailed the club with a lengthy complaint about these issues, and to be very fair to Leeann Dempster she came back with a swift and well constructed reply, explaining several issues. Apparently, MFC were negotiating right from postponement #1 for a refund for MFC fans, but Inverurie were unwilling to let this happen, MFC went via SFA to sort this out. SFA took no responsibility and left it to the two clubs. MFC took it upon themselves apparently, to give their fans refunds and to re-sell the tickets without Loco's permission - fair play to MFC for doing this and helping out their own fans. That is all well and good, but my main gripe is still the fact, it was MFC giving out wrong information and saying that I had days to collect my refund and then to turn round AFTER the deadline to say naw.. If they had in the first place said that yesterday was the deadline, I would have accepted this fact, it's only because they have changed it, that it leaves fans pissed off..
  18. Not sure if it has been mentioned, but stuck in work and not got the chance to trawl through threads. So, if so it can be merged. But, I know a few people are not going to be happy as they are in the same boat, and under the knowledge that they are going to get a refund. But, it's another shambolic fiasco from Motherwell FC. Myself amongst others were made aware that yesterday that tickets could be returned and refunded for a few days following the match going ahead last night. Turns out that today, that the information given out from the Ticket Office was incorrect and the deadline was half 4, yesterday. Yet no information was given out despite this "change". Totally unacceptable and now I am out of pocket for the two tickets that I purchased. Fair enough, not a great amount of money, but money I could certainly do with. Also, being situated in Liverpool surely the club have to accomodate these people. To travel to all games and then be treated like this!? I mean took the entire week off last week on the off-chance the game goes ahead (albeit this can't be blamed on MFC), so I have made a huge effort in trying to get to this game. Then on Saturday how do they expect people to come in for a refund, when most fans are out in Edinburgh at Easter Road. Then not to mention the terrible weather conditions on Monday, that is if I were even in the vicinity of Fir Park (which I wasn't, nearly 300 miles away), so are Motherwell willing and wanting there fans to risk their own safety to come down to Fir Park that day for a refund? Absolutely shocking, to tell fans information, then the following day turn round and claim that this information was never given out. Surely they would have learned after the Nancy fiasco, when giving out information on the website, only to later delete that information and re-enter a whole load of new shite, and just hope that nobody notices. Fuckin' shocking and now I am out of pocket, due to sheer incompetency. Not a happy chappy..
  19. Nah, ST option went out the window during the League Cup, Accies at home exhausted the one cup match option.
  20. As will I, don't get me wrong. I am just saying there is still no need for them to be that price. Just do one thing for the fans and REALLY reduce the prices, I mean St Mirren did it for their final game at Love Street and we benefited from it. So, a bit of a reduction for both teams. Could easily have 7/8 thousand + if the prices can be properly low..
  21. Would hope for it to be £12 and £5. Good prospect of Midden bringing a similar amount as they did in the 3-2 Malpas debacle. Was a good 3k there, more or less filled the entire South. But, can just see it being £15 and £10 unfortunately.
  22. Professional. Roll on Saturday, now to pump those jakey bastards.
  23. Not quite, Tan Tan Tran..
  24. Thank fuck for that. Perfect timing to kill the game. Right when they started to have a bit of confidence and momentum. Now be professional and keep a clean sheet.
