I'm not one for kicking a man when he's down, and he has got a couple of goals for us already, but Higdon was rank rotten today. I've never seen a guy so big who refuses to jump when a high ball is played towards him. I remember saying that he appeared really slow at the start of the season, and that was explained away by him carrying an injury. Well, he better get the finger out. The fans are already turning on him it would appear.

A terrible performance. Not quite sure what actually happened to be honest, we simply didn't look like the team we've been in recent non-old firm games Still, it's games like this that give the moaning c*nts on this board a chance to do their thing.

William Hill is offering 2/1 on us winning the game and Murphy scoring at some point during the 90 minutes. I took that bet.

I doubt I'll make that, so if anyone fancies doing a little write-up when they get home it would be much appreciated.

I see we have the weather befitting a match between us and St Johnstone

We probably couldn't match the wages on offer.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what our highest paid player would be getting?

A free transfer who won't break the bank, so he's more than welcome at the club if McCall thinks he's good enough. Hopefully see him this weekend, even if it is from the bench.

Right lads, I think the discussion on the actual game against Celtic is pretty much over. Lets look forward to the game with St Johnstone.

If Murphy continues performing at the level which has seen a lot of interest from south of the border his time will surely come.

I was talking about the Old Firm, but to be honest it's also fair to say that every club has its fair share of wallopers, including ours. Of course, we don't have as many as the bigot brothers, but it could be argued that they have more because their support is bigger. It could also be argued that our wallopers can be considered on a level with Celtic & Rangers fans when the Scottish Government sees fit to call us to a meeting to discuss our detrimental effects on Scottish society.

There's a simple answer then mate. Don't get involved in the conversation.

Exactly. Both clubs have their fair share of bigots.

Do you not think he'd be able to pick up similar wages to what Hearts are paying him if he moved to the lower leagues in England?

Forrest is playing in a team full of internationals against a side that cost less collectively than two of their players. Stick Forrest in the Motherwell team and lets see how he does against Celtic at Parkhead.

I'm not too sure that anyone really cares to be honest, it's simply a discussion on an internet forum. Do you think the people who are discussing the matter here actually think about it in "real life"?

Exactly. We seem to change the way we play whenever we face them, and it's never worked.

We beat them relatively easily in the cup last season, and I'm not sure that they've improved much since then, whilst I know for certain that we have. I'll go for a 3-1 scoreline.

It's maybe worth firing the club an email with those points mate, they've asked for input.

Christ man, is that how you would react to your friends & family?

Did you have the Union Jack personally? If not, the answer to the emails is simply "fuck knows".

I'd imagine so. More than likely to start from the bench if McCall thinks he's fit enough.

Hopefully he comes back better than ever.

It doesn't look like it! How can we do so well in other games yet revert to the capabilities of Cowdenbeath when we play Celtic or Rangers?
