Now that the ballot is over, could we please advise those still seeking tickets/looking to shift tickets to do so in the Scottish cup section of the forum. It's never a wise idea to post full names, email addresses & mobile phone numbers in a section of the forum that is visible to non-members. If you've been a regular poster, and a member of the board since Christmas then get in touch with a mod/admin for the password. Look, the simple fact is that there are always going to be people getting tickets who don't deserve them no matter what system is used. You can't hold the club responsible for that. I'm sure they're doing the best they can with the situation. Look at it this way, at least you're not a Celtic fan trying to get tickets. I know a few who are season ticket holders, travelled in Europe and so forth who have been told they aren't getting anything!

If I were you, and I was able to, I'd take a walk down to the ground today and ask about your tickets. There's been reports of people popping in to inquire and getting tickets there & then.

Having seen how the Glasgow-based media operate in the past, I'm willing to bet that he was asked about the Scottish cup final, how he's settling at Motherwell and so forth, only for such information to be completely binned in favour of his opinion on Lennon & the Old Firm.

This is a must-buy for me, so I'll pick it up before going on holiday. If a new home shirt is released I'll likely pick that up as well if it looks decent.

To be fair, although I'm never happy to see my team take their foot off the pedal somewhat, it has to be said that in past seasons the teams who come into the top six split with basically nothing to play for usually drop their performance levels for the last few games. If we had been challenging for a European spot like we have in the past I'm sure it would have been different. I'm not excusing the performances though, as there are people who have paid good money to come and watch the team, and they deserve the effort.

If it was me I'd probably have done that anyway, such was my intent to get hold of a ticket for the game. Do you have access to the Scottish cup section now?

I'm actually a bit surprised that there are still genuine 'Well fans on this forum who haven't gotten hold of a ticket somehow.

I'd happily forfeit a victory or draw on Sunday to see Celtic win the title, thus ensuring another European adventure for us next season. My gameplan would be to let Celtic go two goals up then start kicking hell out of their most influential players On a serious note, I'd love to see a Motherwell win, as it'll set us up nicely for the final, helping to plant a seed of doubt in their minds.

I was down at the park yesterday and happened to notice that the ticket office was rather chaotic. People wanting more adult tickets for the family section than they were allowed etc. Happy days!

It would appear that plans to show our game with Kilmarnock on ALBA tomorrow night have been scrapped in favour of the St Johnstone vs Hamilton game tonight.

I suspect that if the shirt had seen a clear move away from the recognisable Motherwell colours and/or design we would have seen a lot of people complaining about that fact. The shirt looks excellent, and all parties involved deserve recognition for the work put in.

The only reason I mention it is because I got myself a season ticket for next season at the shop in Brandon Parade, and the woman who served me made a big deal of telling me to keep my receipt as this was the only way I had of proving that I'd actually bought & paid for my ticket. It may have been different at the ticket office, but I'd still double check that when you get the chance.
