Yes, that was my point too. We need to be careful to use valid arguments when making a point and not mis-represent the facts. I know this is an Internet forum but if we are passionate about an issue we should get it right. For me the thing that is missing is the confirmation of what will happen in subsequent years. If this is a first step to a fairer distribution then I can see some of the logic to it, most teams will do better out of this set up than they would from the previous one. How much of our anger is because we have a shot at second place. Are Dundee fans angry? None of this addresses the issue that the communication has been poor on this but I am prepared to give our club the benefit of the doubt that they have a better view of the bigger picture than I do.

Tonight's result means St Mirren ( as well as Dundee and Hearts) cannot catch us for top six. A draw on Saturday takes out Aberdeen. Small victories but it keeps me happy.

The smoke bombs did not add to the atmosphere, they just caused a reduction of visibility, a terrible smell and attracted the attention of the stewards. The singing added to the atmosphere, the smoke bombs were an own goal. Although I never saw that one was thrown at a steward I thought they were each let off within the crowd.

Against St Johnstone he made a great run with the ball right down the middle of the park from left back, if Murphy had played the 1--2 he would have tapped it in from the six yard box (Murphy put it narrowly wide). The exposure he is getting to the first team can only make him a better player and if he continues to progress I would have no issues with him as a regular.

That stats website that was posted tells me that we haven't lost a league game that we have scored in but equally we have had to score 2 goals at least to win any game. Interesting.

Also, can we not teach our players to pass a ball in front of their team mates so they don't have to turn back for it, the messing about at the back wouldn't need to happen if the ball was played such that each players first movement was forward and not backward (giving time to be closed down)

I think he is a fine defender, could improve his crossing though - you need to think how bad the others are given that he takes all the free kicks
