  1. Gave it a good few mins. Said a thing of beauty that neutrals would enjoy. Like playing five a sides or a training game with your mates the number of 1-2s we had. Good to hear, looking forward to seeing it. Sutton starting it off then numerous 1-2s between vigours and moore, then vigours curling a shot with outside of the boot
  2. Yaaas vigours! Also, try not to get too carried away with the goal rob mclean
  3. Bbc scotland saying gunnar very slow in getting down to try to meet the shot. Fucksake!
  4. I thought (maybe wrong) that Faddys wages comes from a few directors and not the clubs wage budget? If true, and if the directors were prepared to continue funding Faddy, why wouldn't we have him???
  5. If we get to europe, and if we get to the playoff round and if we were drawn against Man U, i would still like to see us play them at the ark. Its our home, its plenty big enough for our fan base including regulars, odd game attendees and most of the day out crowd. Would expect those who regularly attend will know enough ST holders to guarantee them a ticket. If someones gran/ 2nd cousin/ dug couldn't source a ticket, i wouldnt be too concerned. Everyone had a ticket for Nancy with some to spare. Yes there will be greater demand for Man U as 'well fans + Man U and neutrals would look for tickets, but as long as the club looked after sales sensibly to ensure they went to 'well fans, i'm sure we would be fine
  6. Do the big teams automatically get into the Europa group stages the way they do with the Champs league or do they still have to play the last qualifying round? I wonder what the nay sayers would make of Europe if we were suddenly drawn to play Arsenal or Man United........
  7. Ok, more solid in that we can grind out wins despite shipping goals.
  8. Certainly we have been more solid than last seasons team, but we are nowhere near the fluid dynamic attacking force we turned into for the last few months of last season
  9. I did have a chuckle at it yesterday after the game. Richard Gordon said.... "Jack gives Aberdeen victory and Motherwell hold on for a win." Both technically true but the way its reported just shows what they all think.
  10. My rangers supporting mate who has a reasonable brain was saying the other night that there are avenues for them to pursue playing in Europe should they win the cup. I couldnt be bothered engaging him in it but wouldnt be surprised if they have a plan moving forward
  11. We'v been in Europe what 5 times in the last 6 years? In those years a few other clubs have managed to draw a glamour tie, Hearts having EPL opposition. The way I figure it is, if we keep getting in the pot, one of these days we will hit the jackpot. Either in terms of a glamour tie or sneaking through to the groups......
  12. It didnt take long for the "hollis is fuckin pish" posts did it......
  13. He would be someone who could actually follow ruddy and randolph. If he was fit and we could afford him it would be a great coup! Expect Aberdeen to be all over him though
  14. Do Hibs fans not have their own drum? Whilst they are free to do what they want in their own ground, if they have banned ours, but allow their own one in, I would hope Motherwell FC as a club highlight this.
  15. Im guessing there will be similar stats for us though......
  16. I thought young leitch was good as well. Looked like he fancied a glory shot now and again as well which is something some of our established players are a bit scared to take on. Did notice leitch never passed to ZFA at all when he was the easy open man. Maybe he didnt notice him or he just knows zanes not the best. Regardless, great debut, looking forward to seeing more of the lad.
  17. I think Ramsdens a great right back, be dissapointed if he doesnt slot straight back in. Imo
  18. I think theres a bit of a difference here between being ‘happy clappy’, ‘realistic’ and a ‘panty wetting moron’. I’d probably be classed as happy clappy. Im quite happy that despite the budget cuts and player loses we are still sitting 3rd in the league and within touching distance of second. In fact while Aberdeen were clearly better than us in the first game of the season, they only snatched a draw with us last month due to inept goal keeping and a blatant handball. The last 2 months Aberdeen have had decision after decision go their way and a hat full of late goals. Are they better than us? Probably, but they are not lightyears ahead despite the bigger squad and wages available. Am I happy that the first three months of the season we played turgid football? Of course not. Am I happy that we have a disaster between the sticks? Not in the least. Am I happy that we are a bawhair off 2nd place and have essentially qualified for the top 6 despite the budget cuts and players out? Definitely. Could we be doing things better? Yes. Could we be doing things worse, yes, much worse. The thought processes displayed on here back in November wanting McCall out verged on hysterical, looks like we are going to be going back down that road. Give yourselves a shake!
  19. Were you not one of the posters who thought it was time for McCall to 'get to fuck' a couple of months back as well??
  20. I can follow the logic but by the same token you have been predicting us to get humped in the majority of games we have had since Utd, so forgive us for not taking you too seriously. Still, you'v got to get it right at some point. Sun shines on a dugs arse now and again.....
