  1. Yaaaaassss, never expected to celebrate a winner against thistle as much as that, all down to the behaviour of that wee reject! Just on the train, thistle fans singing SIWY, pissing myself!
  2. Snowed lastnight up my way at top end of Hamilton and been pissin down all morning. Not sure if the twitter feed is being optimistic
  3. You know, the Gunnar situation could actually be the making of Hollis. Hollis came into an impossible situation, standing between the sticks straight after Ruddy and Randolph. Add to that, the fact that 2/3s of the team infront of him were new recruits still to find some familiarity then he was always onto a thankless task. Now however he can come back in after injury, the fans might have a fresh perspective given Gunnars performances of late, the team seem to know each other better…… you never know, this could now be his chance to step up, not be judged against Randolph, and actually have a reasonable team infront of him. Or am I clutching at straws???
  4. Probably nancy, taps aff apparantly, couldnt feel a thing!
  5. Just read my survey email, got to say I am quite interested now. £10 per month actually suits me...... just need to ask the boss about the funds as there is now a mini steelman/steelgirl on the way! Now, do I phone them myself or wait to see if I get a call from Keith??
  6. Its a good theme. I got married a couple of weeks after the cup final (3years ago). Had an agreement in place if we won, i could name the tables after the team. In the end i had to go with golf courses.
  7. I agree and i enjoy, just dont think quality wise its all its cracked up to be
  8. Its all hype though. Plenty empty seats in premiership and championship matches every week. Aside from the top section of the championship (leicester, QPR, Burnley etc) I dont think that league is really that good.
  9. My take on it was the extension wasnt so we can keep him for another 3years, but to keep him happy until a suitable offer comes in from a club he would be happy to move to. Regardless, we cant afford to up his wages so its bye bye in the summer for hee haw
  10. Listening to mccall on the radio a few weeks back, the fail regarding hutchie was getting pumped out the cups. Mccall said hutchie loves it here and he would have been confident getting a contract extension on him, but the cup results mean we cant afford it
  11. Didn't Randolph get our shut out record as well? Maybe McCall should get a record for number of clowns on the internet wanting shot of him in a season where he is challenging again for 2nd place in the league.
  12. Carswell at RB, Lawson in the middle would be my guess
  13. Disgrace IMO I really think Dempster should go to town on Celtic. We played the game for them and towed the line, no media statements and no complaining to the press when they smashed up the south stand, and here they are banning our drum. Fuck off Celtic, ARSEHOLES!
  14. So to summarise, the players and manager have to believe we will win away against our hardest opponents but you get your free pass to 'not believe' we will win most games we play, week in, week out.
  15. Aberdeen punting him 6 months into a 3 year contract might suggest to some he's been misbehaving behind the scenes....... Or maybe he just wants to play football and has told them to rip up his contract.
  16. Now jim paterson is someone who really came into his own under mcghee
  17. I think thats pushing it? He got better but was never really anything special. Was he ever considered a 'first 11' man? Im thinking back, we had clarky, porter and rossco up front. Did mcgarry make it into the midfield?
  18. Totally agree Andy and if you think of Dundee United as an example, the season we all lost Rangers custom, they got a derby with Dundee to make up the short fall. This season, they have neither. Swings and roundabouts
  19. Bangers aside, just saw the goal. Good work and finish by sutty. Not sure it was going in if the hearts boy hadn't have got a touch, but who cares. Mon the 'well!
  20. Sounds painfull on the radio at the moment, need to get a grip back on this game!
  21. Really good news. Well done to all concerned with the deal. Just a shame the directors cant top hutchys contract up. Saying that, they dont have bottomless pockets & we really can't start living outwith our means again.
  22. Listened to that McCall interview. Great to hear that Hutchy loves it here, but a real kick in the baws when McCall says that if we had got through in the cups he would be confident of the big man signing a contract extension. Now we can't afford to offer him the type of salary that would have kept him around a bit longer, and certainly meant we could have sold him for a real price.
  23. He's already told us. He rejected the contract extension a couple of months back I believe.
