Honestly in shock at that. First half may have been our best football yet. It was that good. We can blame VAR all we want but VAR didnt make the players not show up for the 2nd half! Doubt partick can pay the sort of signing on fee that Watt enjoys. The problem is clearly the guys attitude. He was easily one of the better technical players at both Utd & us, has still struggled & been punted on. What a career he could have had. Cant see him signing any new deal without a guaranteed release clause, and while that may be fine for us with most players, Miller is a potential goldmine. Setting a clause too low does us no favours. Too high & he wont sign. Hypothetical clearly but then we have the issue of wages.
