  1. I totally agree with the state of the park. It was very very thin and shocking. But, in my opinion, footballers are footballers, they should be able to play on anything, look at the early years of football - it was just mud upon mud, no smooth green growing grass. Of course I'd love to have an ideal footballing surfuce because we can take advantage of that playing silky soccer but, footballers should adapt to anything thats put infront of them!
  2. Craig Thomson says the 'fishal..
  3. Fair point, everyone who attends games regulary go to watch the team they support, ok, they may not be doing it in the correct way by not getting behind the players or singing from kick off to Full Time but, there at Fir Park (or at away games) because thats the team they support. But, from your original point "Why don't we fuck off.." etc, many people would if we never had the love for the footballing side of things. Like the thread "The Well Support.." asking how we rate our fans, we ain't different from any other club, all clubs have twats who will give stick to their own players for the hell of it but, its our duty as fans to out voice they ideas and get behind the team.
  4. We support the football team that is Motherwell FC not the running of the club..
  5. Just went passed Fir Park about 10mins ago going to college, the balloon is up and Fir Park looks quite good in the snow effect, hids all the rustyness and dodgy paint work!
  6. Regardless of any circumstances? Even though its another Motherwell fuck up? The only reason people are pissed off is because again and certainly not the first or the last time it will happen Motherwell issued information to some fans who phoned up to equiry about the ticket return situation and got told they can do so for a few days. Motherwell went back on there word, I wouldn't give two hoots if I'd not bothered at all to return it or make an effort to contact the club, there well within their rights of doing so IF they said they would not issue refunds the FACT they did is why I am few others are extremely pissed off. What gets me is Leeanne Dempster says it was a mistake this information was handed out but, it was infact handed out by herself, this is the General Manager, by the way. Never slated the club before but, this is just another step in the direction of no common sense showed by the club, unable to issue correct information. All I ask is for Motherwell to stick to the information they give out, ain't hard is it?
  7. DC'd can fill you in with the email reply he got from the General Manager (Im sure!), Leanne Dempster who definitely told carl_mfc that a refund would be available for the next few days and now claims it was not the case. But, first of all, Inverurie said no to refunds after the 1st game got postponed and Motherwell rightly disagreed with this and then came to a decision that refunds would be available. Although now it different, Motherwell (and Motherwell only) have said to several people refunds are avaulable even afte rthe match has finished and when I entered Fir Park this morning I was told I wasn't getting one.. To say Im annoyed is an understatement.
  8. Ok, thats your opinion, but, why not? Let us be £15 out of pocket due to Motherwell getting their information wrong, again..
  9. Which is the ironic thing because apparently, thats how he think its spelt.. Its a bent name anyway..
  10. 1-0 'Well then! Sutton, assisted by O'Brien..
  11. Course I'd like to see plenty of goals for the strikers but, would like the midfielders to grab a few goals. 5-1 I say, give Inverurie their moment of glory against a big team..
  12. Anywhere we can listen or get updates on the game tonight? Radio, doubt it.. Or is the 'fishal doing Live Updates? Ideas?
  13. I'm gonna act happy.. Edit: Great......
  14. I'd rather go back to having no one and helplessly praying to bring someone in..
  15. I seen Rickozas post about there being no extra time for transfers but, seen this on Sky Sports about an hour ago.
  16. Thats pretty much what I'm doing now, trying to stay away from clicking different web pages (here, 'fishal, BBC, Sky Sports..) hoping to go back and find news! Awk, please McGhee, just the one, at least..
  17. Yeah, you may well be right, we do need several fresh faces in the squad. But, right now we're struggling to be rumoured with one player never mind bring 3 in.. One at a time..
  18. I'm staying optimistic about getting at least one player in. Surely, where ever McGhee is be it on the motorway, a stop-off point between here and Inverurie, anywhere.. he can pick up a phone and phone those 2 or 3 people and ask "Porters away, can we get your player?". It may well not be as simple as that but, pick up a phone and call them McGhee, give us some hope!
  19. Brilliant, cheers mate! Taking mine back within an hour or so as I head to college. No need to fight polar bears in Inverurie, theres snowballs coming from the sky in Wishy. Good luck getting there!!
  20. 'Flow, Now that I can't make today (if its 100% on) or Wednesday, can I still return my tickets? Coz, I don't quite fancy being £30 out of pocket..
  21. Controversy...! Surely it's a case of dotting the i's and crossing the t's though?

    Bid For Lasley

Or the totally embarrasing fact, that sections of our support threw our ST's away at the end of the Malpas 3-2 debacle against St Mirren, which was indeed the 2nd last game of the season, and the last at FP for that season. Shambolic.

    Bid For Lasley

    EDIT: Double Post, apologies.

    Bid For Lasley

Can't see this being true, surely. I mean would Lasley's reputation not be tainted down south due to two unsuccessful spells at Plymouth and Blackpool. Consider his age and being a potential backup player at us, his failure down south previously etc, just seems a big amount of money from what is a relatively unknown player up here. Hardly grabs the headlines up here, so floats under most teams radar. And no other Scottish team would come in with that sort of bid, so it must be an English mob involved (if this story is to believed). Would be absolutely gutted to see him go, despite Klimpl's VERY impressive performances in midfield, the guy has played there less than half a dozen games and people here are wanting rid of Lasley whom has gave what 200odd consistant performances for us? Every player can have a bit of form, Keef has proved that he can do it consistantly over x amount of time. Don't like the concept of Keef out Maros in (permanently). In saying that I would like them both here, just don't think we should disregard Keef and let him on his way on the off chance that Maros does indeed want to stay longer than May.
