Home league cup game against Dundee United in 81/82 both sides wore their usual strips.

Probably in a programme from that season, will check later.

Think we only wore that once, for the home league cup game in 1980, and United wore their away strip for all the other games?

Think it was so unpopular because we lost so many games in it that season. Plus it won the "design a strip" competition, admit my effort was quite similar but not sure who actually won it.

Was going to mention 3-0 win in 1991 but beat me to it. Remember we only got back from Katowice that morning. On the subject of tonights crowd, why are they allowing the OF match to be televised at the same time?

Think we usually wore claret shorts with this strip, certainly did in the 76 semi and any other time I can mind.

1994/95 was actually the first season of 3 points for a win.

And 20 years ago today we played our first ever game in Europe... 5 days on a bus just to see the last 9 minutes!! Still had a good night in the hotel Diamond though

Office didn't open until about half 9, I was quite near the front so wasn't too bad, think those still queuing now will be there for a few hours yet. Main problem was they didn't seem to know to form one or two queues. Plus the forms were a bit over the top, asking for name, address, date of birth etc for every additional ticket.

Just back after queuing since 745, well organised as usual MFC. Plus £2 per ticket charge for using a credit card WTF! Anyway tickets in the bag, time to go to the pub.

Apology accepted, no need for the smileys! Don't think I'm a better fan than anyone else, just fortunate that I'm able to go to most games. We had 6 on our bus to Tyncastle at the weekend which was slightly disappointing after taking 40+ full buses to Hampden the previous week. Quite often the fans who only turn up for the big games are the first ones to start giving the team verbals when it all goes tits up. Have witnessed this on too many occasions over the years to list here. Anyway, MON THE WELL!!!!!
