I cant say I'm thrilled by the names being put forward so far but to be honest i couldn't come up with anyone better. This is where McCall will show us if his contacts are any good or not .
From the evening news.....
Motherwell midfield general Steve Jennings has revealed that he is likely to sign a new deal at Fir Park.
The former Tranmere Rovers ace goes out of contract next week but says his agent will hold talks with Well manager Stuart McCall this week.
And individual coaching the 26-year-old is receiving from the Well gaffer is likely to play a massive part in his decision.
Jenno said: “The gaffer wants me to stay and he has made that clear to me from the off.
Two of our on loan players Steven Lawless and Peter Innes, both featured in last nights 3-1 win for Albion Rovers in the 1st leg of the final play off over Annan Athletic. Well done guys.
Will there be Rangers fans going along on Saturday ? Yes .What can anyone do about it? Nothing. So best not to bother about it, just get along support the Well and enjoy the occasion.
A heavy defeat at Hampden next week is very much on the cards after all this fannying about with team selections, continuity and confidence has been shot to hell .I might be wrong, I am on many occasions, but for me McCall has has got it wrong big time.
All this Motherwell have no chance ,Celtic will rip us tae shreds stuff is a superstitious thing isn't it MJC you just don't want to say anything positive in case you in someway put a hoodoo on us ,that's fine with me mate just you keep it up if thats your thing. .
Broon fae Celtic thinks hes tough but when it it comes to REAL tough Jennings will teach him a lesson every time. Your last league game in a Motherwell shirt on Sunday Jenno ? hurt Broony the Loony, take him out.
Leeds United have placed Mike Grella and Federico Bessone on the transfer list as midfielder Neil Kilkenny heads towards the exit door at Elland Road.
Grella and Bessone have been deemed surplus to requirements by United manager Simon Grayson and will be free to find new clubs before the start of next season.
Bessone’s impending departure is no surprise after an unsuccessful transfer from Swansea City last summer, but Grella’s availability appears to mark the end of an initially promising career at Elland Road.
Grella was the guy we tried to get on loan wasnt he?
Outplayed, outfought and outsung for long spells in the match ,Killie at times were taking the piss out off us, but not to worry it will be all right come the final as everyone says.

“Motherwell FC is surprised at this outcome and fully intend to appeal the decision at the earliest possible opportunity.”
