  1. Aye that's the one! In case you hadn't noticed, our goalkeeping pedigree this season isnt great
  2. Thankfully, work means I cant even so much as keep track off this game so hopefully this works in our favour... Worked last week up in Dingwall anyway! 2-1/0 depending on who the goalie is. Think Twardzic (?) is a decent keeper but I think Ross Stewart Showed glimpses against Ross County Last season of being a good one too! We've got Three players back from injury this weekend too so hopefully that works in our favour also. Although, they are Kerr, McHugh and ZFA.....
  3. You censor the word "Twat" by turning it into a pun but your neglect to censor the word "Cunt". Poor show. As for tony watt, never liked him. Can't get a game at Celtic for a reason.
  4. To be fair, when the poll was made, many people, including myself, would still have been warming to the current kits and that certainly affected my vote. Now, I wouldn't be overly bothered by Puma Staying! In fact I would be a little more excited for next seasons kits after the couple shockers we've had this season!
  5. Hateley. Then the rest of our team would be playing the best football of their careers according to most on here
  6. Ah... See, I got a little excited there. Not because I like macron, but because it would perfectly sum up the last week for the club. Very poor.
  7. So frazzie is implying that we have arranged for Macron to produce our kits next season? Or is something being missed?
  8. I reckon we should start from scratch. Re-build. Finish bottom six for the next few seasons to build up our squad?
  9. Optimisticly hoping for a 1-0 defeat.
  10. I don't understand the need to move the game? We don't move games away from Fir Park on the off chance of getting a higher attendance at Tynecastle... Anyway, good draw! Can't see us not being in the 5th round draw!
  11. With our defence being dismantled, basically missing 4 of our 5 defensive starters (Hollis included) I would take a draw! But would love for us to go out, all guns blazing, and grab a win! Defeat in that scenario would be justified by the effort. But, realistically McCall will play the same set up and we can either struggle against a strong frontline or thrive against a weak back line.hopefully it's the latter!
  12. I thought it was the same as every other teams allocation of their equivilant groups; to intimidate the away fans. And I thought it was the Fans choice!
  13. I agree to moving them closer to the game, making the crowd noisier. And increasing the atmosphere too. But please, god. Keep them out the cooper! Nothing wrong with the "bois" but the cooper being the family stand needs to remain that. A family stand. Plus, I don't think we could cope with the fuss caused by it,
  14. Wasn't there today, nor did I get a chance to watch the game tonight so I won't comment on the display. A win is a win. Always has been, always will be. Some are pretty and some aren't. Fair to say, I tend to criticise more often than not on here nowadays, but it's nice to see us make an improvement on the last two games. On Faddy, I think he is a game changer, and that's how he has to be used. I don't think he can be expected to start a game and make an impact. Considering he is nursing numerous knee cartilage and tendon injuries, on top of a hamstring tear from pre-season, I never expected him to be a performer this season. Or at least not until December/January time. But I think he would benefit from playing the last 20 minutes of games, rather than the first 45. In the Aberdeen match thread, I was very quick to criticise McCalls tactics, but then I realised that there is a reason he is the manager and not me. Think a win, regardless of tactics is good, but defeat due to tactics is bad. It's a bit of a catch 22 scenario for him.
  15. 4-0 either way! Unless the lads are up for it, I fear it'll be Hibs with the points! I don't think Nielson is a goalkeeper. Certainly not one for this level - which makes him shite. Lawson and Vigurs are both on slumps! Both have confidence issues and the abuse they get certainly won't be helping. Think they both need to play at some point on Sunday. Nielson Ramsden McManus Hutchison Hammell Lasley Carswell Lawson Vigurs. Anier Sutton ZFA did do well on Wednesday night considering he was up against a couple powerful full backs, but I feel he may benefit from a start on the bench! unless Vigurs is unfit/Injured, then this would be my starting line up.
  16. Wish I had waited to post my opinion of the game. All I can say now is Aberdeen took the chance, we gave them it.
  17. What positives can be taken from that, eh? We dominate a game, with 60+% possession, plenty shots AND with a man advantage, yet we fail to score once and concede twice! According to Flow, Sutton scored. Plain and simple. The linesman flagged AFTER Sutton had reached the east stand! (My Cooper seat provided the perfect view of this) This bit of incompetence by the referee turned the game so early for us. From then we got nothing- with the exception of The red card and Hutchy's let off. I counted 10 definite Aberdeen handballs in and around their box in the second half. Interestingly enough, one of which was Reynolds mimicking his 2007 red card at Dunfermline towards the end of the game. McCalls tactics were negative from the get go. IMO he was playing for extra time. He was playing for fresh legs after 80minutes. Lawson's shambollic display in the first half meant his plans had to be brought forward. Ainsworth coming on at half time to rightly win MotM. Can't complain with his display, nothing worse than Humphrey's good games last year! McHugh came on for the wrong player. I think Sutton should have come off instead of Anier who had been our only real outlet from midfield. Aberdeen would pick balls out the air all night if they had to, but along the ground they would have struggled and I reckon we would have went on and at least taken it to extra time. Neilson gives me the fear. Reminiscent of Buzz with his howlers. Tonight he never had any really, a good save towards the end. Still looks terrified to deal with corners, and is almost entirely at fault for the first. He needs to command the box, not just jump around and hope he stops the ball. A good game for the neutral I suppose... Anyone have an explanation for the loud bangs? Or the smoke coming from the South end of the POD?
  18. Wwhat is Lee Hollis' injury? Or is it some sort of dispute? I've not read anything explaining it!
  19. Never before has a Slow Applause been so necessary. That's a belter!
  20. Have a personal soft spot for both Edinburgh teams as they are my local lot! Love beating them though! Always said that if Motherwell weren't a team, I'd probably be a jambo. As for other countries, I'm a Vivid Evertonian! Loved the club since Faddys big move down south! FIFA made me follow Kansas City in the US for a few years....
  21. Yer aw deluded! I can't see us winning this, but on recent form I can't see us losing either! I'll go with my heart and say 2-1 'Well! A tired Celtic is a beatable Celtic. A Celtic that's confident is also a beatable Celtic. So tonight's game bears little effect on our game! Simply because either way, celtic should be there for the taking!
  22. Couple belters scored! A couple horrendous goals conceded. Never saw that game, only the highlights but from what I can see and from what I've been told, we should have finished the game early on! Surprised this hasn't been touched on yet, but I thought the Black away kit look better with white shorts and socks? Perhaps it provided the touch of C&A that the strip badly needed! Looked quite classy, rather than boring and dull!
  23. I can only imagine it's more than £100k but less than £1m . I think the back of shirt and short sponsors would be £50k-£100k Just thinking about the cost of Player Shirt sponsorship being low in terms of sponsorship, I can't imagine the actual sponsor is any different.
