  1. Ah right. The way he looks. Cool.
  2. Why don't we like Pressley again?
  3. Thought Grimshaw had a good game after a slightly shaky start
  4. Maybe he was just a taxi driver who eas a fan
  5. Aye, I spoke to him in the centenery yesterday. Nice guy, didnt give too much away.
  6. Kenned. Ainsworth a close 2nd. McManus, Las, Skippy, Grimshaw notable mentions.
  7. It was reported Ainsworth/Robinson in the rammy.
  8. Based on what exactly?! Do you really think McCall and Baraclough would speak highly of him, have him starting every match, helping out coaching the youth, captain the other night and talking through press conferences if he is the 'cancer' you claim he is? Hasn't played as well as we all thought he would. But a 'cancer'...fucking nonsense.
  9. Lasley looked the same on Sky Sports too. They all look a bit red eyed like they have been having a good bubble!
  10. 'Give-a-fuck-ability' should be an attribute in Football Manager.
  11. Interesting listening to both Craggs and McManus there. Both seemed genuinely shocked/sad the manager was gone. McManus sporting a wee hint of a black eye too...dressing room antics/splitting up a fight or training/game knock? Let the gossip commence!
  12. Same argument here every time and people getting their back up on both sides. Its fucking boring. Frazzie hit the nail on the head a few posts ago. If we take 'the bois' out of it and lets just look at it as everyone as 1 group of fans. If you think the stewarding is fine, you are naive, as often it is not and is heavy handed. But, if you think some, not all, but some of the behaviour that is clearly visible is fine...and the fans are without fault...then you are naive also. Movement on both sides required.
  13. maybe It was in the dressing room bust up! Fired at a player then Burrows went ape at Robinson for breaking the new HD camera. haha.
  14. Can we just pin this thread...we seem to visit this argument a few times a season! Along with pinning....happy clapper/critic conversations, the new manager 'out' thread with 'imposter' comments, ex old firm players being baddies and root of all evil chat, Sutton would have finished that bantz Cheers!
  15. Why presume that? MVG ia not exactly a manager bestowed in success to demand that type of thing. The club appointed Kenny Black, not McCall. They appointed Robinson, Craigan and the sports coach, not Baraclough. I dont see that changing this time around.
  16. Are the club going to allow you to tape off a section of the ground?
  17. I think it is a bit of both to be honest. Most folk who get lifted/talked to have done something wrong (certainly when I have seen it happen...be it running on the park, standing where they shouldn't, being aggressive themselves, lighting a flare etc). But, absolutely stewarding can be over aggressive which is not acceptable. Back to the actual point of the thread though. I don't think Saturday is the right time for the protest when it can negatively affect the team and club.
  18. Hold on...so the protest, with catalyst being an incident at an away game, is going to negatively affect us at a home game where the team and new interim manager need all the support they can in their first match?! Would look more like a protest against Motherwell I think - who have had good dialogue with the bois have they not? Does not seem to me it would send the right signals.

    Baraclough Out

I think that is it. The way we were losing games was so so pish to watch and when won it was never really that great either (Rangers aside). For me, I was more than willing to let him get his own team together and a full pre season as I thought and hoped it would change the style of play for the better. But it didnt. Also, probably didnt help that he came in after McCall who played really good attacking football most of the time. Add in to the mix he wasnt the most engaging in front of a camera and there you have it.

    Baraclough Out

Woke up a bit now after my grumpy rant...on reflection I do feel a wee bit sorry for him as he is just a guy doing a job and there may be some strong personalities in the dressimg room. However the buck stops with the manager and he should have had control of the dressing room long ago if that was a problem. His recent tactics and setup were bizarre and ultimately that was as much part of the downfall.

Les also thout Baraclough did a good job last season so fuck knows what he is thinking to be fair.

    Baraclough Out

I dont feel sorry for him at all. He clearly didnt have the personality, character or balls to run a dressing room. Arguments and fights happen in dressing rooms all the time. I suspect Les is being cute with the media again. He sacked the manager and basically blamed the players for not performing right at the end of the interview....if he was so sure of baraclough he wouldnt have got shot of him.

    Baraclough Out

Steve Robinson is a passionate wee character in the dugout so that wouldn't surprise me.
