  1. Dropped into Daniels yesterday to watch Man United , noticed that it is 2 bottles of beer for £4 during the week , that includes Bud , Corona and a few others. Also got a fair few impressive raffle prizes , including a jersey from the Dougie Arnott testimonial , a signed 'Zoom' strip from a few years back (where else could you get Zoom branded products these days?) , passes for the Hampden Experience and much more to be confirmed over the course of the week. 'TheRam89' - I'll send out your email as soon as I can. I dpn't have access to the Paypal account , but hopefully will by the end of the day.
  2. Yeah you will mate , I'll be in touch shortly (heading out just now). Cheers
  3. Good , we have our first two entrants. Sorry , I'm trying to sort the dodgy font at the moment. EDIT: Duly sorted for you AP Remember guys for those not that interested in playing pool , still more than welcome to make it along - chat to some of your heroes , watch the fitba on the TV.
  4. Any issues with payment guys , give me a PM on here and we'll try sort something out. Really hope people are able to get behind this , remember Hearts have already donated £500 so we are off to a good start. Dougie Arnott has gathered some well known faces to take part , good to know we have something to look forward to after yesterday's disapointment.
  5. I'm not convinced your not Dave Jones , so won't be reccomending any of our players. In the SPL just now I think there are a fair few players who could make the move to Cardiff. Players such as Andy Driver , Scott Robertson , James McArthur , Andy Dorman , Kevin McBride and Brian Kerr are all decent shout IMO. As for Ross McCormack - he has done brilliantly and what a goal he scored at Hampden the other week as well.
  6. Why? I don't think anybody has said anything that surprising or are even moaning! The quality isn't great and it is becoming more common for folk to get a little fed up. It is still a big part of my week and I will be renewing , but I do see where people are coming from.
  7. I don't think it is the case that people don't rate Hughes , it would just be a major shock to have him for another season. I got the feeling when he signed that it was only a two year deal to re-build his reputation!
  8. I think this summer will be the biggest since McGhee arrived in terms of players arriving and departing the club. At the mo we know that Hughes, Smith , McLean and Boab are yet to sign new contracts. From those four I think we will see Smith , Hughes and Malcolm leaving. I'd be delighted if Brian McLean could stay fit over pre-season and prove to be a big part of the first team squad. Will Reynolds attract more bids? - Always a class act when it comes to talking down moves to other clubs , but at the same time has never hidden his ambition to play at a higher level - if another £1million bid arrives , I would expect a different outcome than last summer. Any other guys that you think it may be time to move on? I can't see many other players leaving with the exception of some of the younger players not considered good enough to make the jump to the first team following the decision to scrap the reserve league. There are guys like Darren Smith , Steven McGarry , Marc Fitzpatrick who some may believe are not good enough for the SPL , but I think they are the versatlile type of player we need and in the current climate where squads are being trimmed having players who can play in a variety of positions is important.
  9. I enjoy the banter between the two sets of supporters , but there are always people who take it too far and some of the policing is questionable to say the least. Telling one fan that 'the sash is not a biggoted song' was strange.

Buying 10 might be a bit of a waste. Any truth in the rumour that next seasons jersey's will be £45?
  12. Right excited about this one tomorrow. C'mon the Super!
  13. It all depends on the intent I guess , I must confess on second read of the story it doesn't suggest he did anymore than attempting to kick down a door. It doesn't really explain what his intentions were. Think I got a bit taken in by the original story.
  14. I don't agree with you at all , Quinn was at the time and still is a fantastic servant of Motherwell Football Club. Yes he made a few mistakes but nothing on the scale of what this guy is being accused (has been charged) with.
  15. I can only hope MFC have dealt with this guy!
  16. I think that Miller is one a the few players in the team capable of making the run which put him in position for his chance. If he had been on a goalscoring run , I think we would have been 1 up.
  17. It was my Papa who took me along to football matches (first game was v Coventry 1992) , he was a Rangers supporter but in his defence basically gave me the choice by taking me to Fir Park one week and Ibrox the next. 1995/96 I got my first season ticket at FP and the way the fixtures worked out I still was going to Fir Park one week and Ibrox the other. First time I had to make a choice was at the end of the 1996-97 season when Motherwell travelled to Ibrox , in desperate need of a result while Rangers needed three points to wrap up 9 in a row at home. I was asked what end I wanted to go in and I asked to sit in the Motherwell end - I even think my Papa celebrated the second Motherwell goal that day. It was proper underdog stuff. The Rangers fans attacked the bus with anything they could get their hands on that day and I think that along with a brilliant Motherwell win let me see the light. After that I was hooked on all things Motherwell and still I am lucky enough to be able to go to most home and away games. Suppose I could say I got to take a look at the dark side and realised there was only one team for me! Mon The Well!
  18. Yawn.... I think our bad winter spell , meant that McGhee's stock decreased a little. However if he were to guide us into Europe for the second consecutive season I'd expect a real battle on our hands to keep him. You then worry about the players we have out of contract - do they follow the gaffer? I know that is worst case scenario , but it is a concern.

    Vs Kilmarnock

While we shouldn't be taking for granted that we should be taking points from teams like Killie , we certainly shouldn't have to tolerate the dross that was served up on Saturday. It was rubbish and over the piece we can possibly consider ourselves lucky to get even a point.
