  1. Hi mate, stick the podcast down for £20 and I'll arrange getting money across on payday.
  2. Not been on for a few days - this is a sensational post!
  3. Entries close @ 7pm. All entries at the deadline will enter a draw to double their number of entries too. http://www.mfc1886.com/product/motherwell-disabled-supporters-association-prizedraw/
  4. Thanks to all who have entered our Motherwell Disabled Supporters Association prize draw. There is still time to get involved too. On Friday we added two engraved whisky bottles to the draw, these will be in the same style as our Scottish Cup 'Off-Air 2' auction bottles, but will be commentating games v Dortmund and Panathinakos. We've had a good response so far in regards to entries but still have a bit of a way to go to ensure we turnover a profit for our final fundraising efforts.
  5. Not sure if I'm being overly harsh, but the last three seasons for the most part have been brutal. Obviously avoiding the battle at the bottom is the main priority. I'd like to be going along to games and enjoying the style of football and mounting more of a challenge against the teams that have been a mainstay in the top-six in recent times too - Aberdeen, Hearts, St Johnstone almost at the stage where they consider games against us as a sure-fire three points. Off the field, hopefully the Society can begin to establish themselves as the best option for the club going forward and the financial state of the club can continue to remain as stable as it appears to be just now. There's been real cause for enthusiasm with the signings so far, we seem to be competitive in the transfer market and not jumping at the first offer for players attracting interest from elsewhere. Appreciate and understand we have to move players on to be sustainable and to fit the model of fan ownership - but the new firm approach in negotiations is encouraging.
  6. Last of the podcast fundraising for Motherwell Disabled Supporters Association - A prize draw featuring a signed Keith Lasley, a signed Chris Cadden shirt, new MFC home shirt on release and more prizes TBC. ‪Motherwell Disabled Supporters Association - Prize Draw - http://www.mfc1886.com/product/motherwell-disabled-supporters-association-prizedraw/‬
  7. I couldn't find Penny's for the game she was mascot, the replacements I got were absolutely massive and folded over about 10 times. Cutting to the chase though I've since found her socks and they are too small, they are a 6-7 if any use?
  8. http://www.mfc1886.com/mfc-podcast-summer-special-2017-episode-1/ Sparra and Busta are joined by Scottish radio and newspaper journalist (and more importantly ‘Well diehard) Tam Cowan for the first summer special podcast of 2017. In this episode, we discuss Tam’s life supporting Motherwell, look back on the 2016-17 season, assess the amazing success and longevity of ‘Off the Ball’, analyse our hopes for the summer transfer window and much, much more. This episode was recorded at Fir Park prior to the Motherwell Disabled Supporters Association AGM, as the podcast came to a close there was a lot of people arriving – that is the reason for the increase in background noise towards the end of the show, we have worked on trying to reduce this during editing.
  9. There's a trip to Ireland scheduled, not sure if that's strictly for training.
  10. http://www.mfc1886.com/mfc-podcast-2016-17-episode-36/ Sparra, Busta and Jay are joined by fellow ‘Well fan Neil Logan to look back on the 2016-17 campaign. We also analyse those leaving Fir Park and those offered new deals, and look ahead to next season in this extended edition of the podcast.
  11. That's an interesting one, I know he had sustained a bad concussion at the start of the season so maybe played a factor in him not playing as much this season. There's not really any surprises on the list for me, is a big indicator of the scale of the rebuilding job ahead though for sure.
  12. I wa s really disappointed by Mackin in the 20s games I saw, his goal record seemed to be fairly decent, but seemed to lack the ability to hold the ball up and bring others into the game. I've got absolutely no idea why we gave Moore another year only to farm him out on loan and not give him the opportunity in the team.
  13. The pressure the guy has been under over the course of the season has been unreal, coupled with the moronic abuse via social media (one instance the other week which went way beyond what is acceptable). It's not been pretty this season, but in the end we've stayed up and that's absolutely massive for the football club. There's a lot of hard work ahead in order to improve things on and off the park, but there will be few if any that give more than Flow will to try make a success of it. The board of directors, the chairman and the Well Society board all need to step it up and work together to ensure the club is in the best position it possibly can be. I'm not sure surviving in a league that has included as many poor teams as it has this season is much to celebrate, but if it serves as a warning shot to the club then it could hopefully be a turning point.
  14. Few auctions online to help boost the funds raised. Keith Lasley - Signed Match Worn Boots - Ends 10:44pm tonight - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201925067753?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Phil O'Donnell Commemorative Ball and signed 'Simply the Greatest' DVD - Ends Thursday night - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motherwell-v-Dundee-United-29-12-07-Match-ball-Signed-Phil-ODonnell-DVD/201924973162?_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160727114228%26meid%3D701e310e93444f2c87c55444dcb42fe4%26pid%3D100290%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D3%26sd%3D201924973162
  15. I see we're training on the astro today, I think the Killie surface is generally regarded to be better than the one at Accies, but 7/9 on artificial surfaces this season, hopefully a good omen. Trying to cling on to any positive at the moment, potential to be our best away support in years tomorrow.
  16. That's what it should be, but it's the one that Louis Moult was on last season.
  17. The website gives us a rough idea as does the iTunes chart, the numbers have been pretty strong this season - the Project Brave episode being the second most downloaded one we've ever done.
  18. Many of you will have seen the national news coverage relating to the Motherwell Disabled Association in the past few days. 20. Has McFadden's role been made more difficult by Robinson coming in on an 18-month contract? McGhee's deal was up at the end of this season meaning they both (you'd have to imagine) were aware that relative success was vital in ensuring they would remain in their posts beyond then. Now you've got the situation where's the a degree of uncertainty for McFadden that regardless of how thing go there's always the chance that Robinson just brings in his own man and deems him surplus to requirements. Well aware we don't have a bottomless pit of funds, but I struggle with the scenario of appointing a new manager and not letting him bring in his own assistant, or should it have been the case that Robinson believed McFadden was the ideal assistant, then his deal should have been extended at that time too.
  21. If he doesn't respond with a post about not being interested in the business side of the club I'll be utterly stunned!
  22. Doesn't appear that this is the case, it was a mistake by the ticket office. We posted it on the podcast twitter, Alan Burrows and Ryan Murrant both confirmed it was planned for the Killie game, but not tomorrow's game.
  23. Great work again, hope it goes really well.
