Am inclined to agree with this.
However, if the seed pots turn out as detailed above there are at least 2 attractive, (and by that I mean: feasible, attendible, accessible, etcible), in each pot.
Put us in a pot with Vitesse, Brugge, Estoril, St Etienne, Utrecht and Liege and I'll be delighted

ON another note, why does our club have to jump through hoops to meet UEFA guidelines all over the shop and they get away with such piss poor conditions inside the stadium for a Champions League game? Catering non-existant, portaloos wi' nae lights, Seats wi' nae backs (one of the problems we have in the Main Stand apparently which is why the wings aren't used in European games.) Blatant double standards to me. Steep steps are a danger tae drunken visiting fans as well
I agree with that one fatcalf the stadium was a shit hole and they stairs were a headache.
The great thing for me is when I was following the Well in my teens, the best we got was the Texaco cup.
We could only dream of getting to Europe so regularly
Now I have been to Nancy, Odense and Athens every one of them brilliant on different levels.
I thought they were all great places to visit and I loved the weather in Athens.
To meet up with fellow Well fans abroad is absolutely brilliant and I have had some great times.
I hope we get a beatable team within a close travelling distance and I'll be there again.
F#ck it, if I can get to it I'll be there..

what price do we have to pay do we get the discounted price?I phoned today, you can get into the Ormond stand with up to 2 children for £15.
It is the family stand and is mixed.
A really good deal, now have to convince my daughter to go.

on drinking or visibly carrying alcohol on ScotRail trains between 9pm and 10am.
We are also refusing travel to people who are not considered fit to do so due to the effects of alcohol.
Our staff use common sense. Customers’ bags are not searched, and the new rules have been gently phased in to give people time to get used to the idea.
Speaking on the launch date, Steve Montgomery, ScotRail’s managing director, said: “Customers should be able to travel in a safe and friendly environment.
“It’s time to call a halt on the irresponsible minority who spoil journeys for the majority. These individuals disrupt services, abuse staff and fellow customers, and cause accidents.”
In the six months to July 2012, ScotRail uncovered at least 260 occasions when British Transport Police (BTP) had to respond to drink-related incidents; an increasing number of trains delayed due to anti-social behaviour; and at least one accident a week caused by excessive alcohol.
What's changed?
There are two elements to the changes:
- A ban on the consumption and carrying of alcohol on board our trains (except the Caledonian Sleeper) seven days a week between 9pm and 10am.
- We will turn away anyone we believe is unfit to travel due to the effects of alcohol. If they are already on a train - having boarded at an unmanned station - arrangements will be made for BTP to meet the train.
How does this work?
The ban is enforced by BTP through a national Railway Byelaw allowing train operators to stop intoxicated people travelling, prevent the carrying of alcohol, and publicly declare that certain services are so-called ‘dry trains’ where the consumption and carrying of alcohol is banned. (Railway Byelaw 4 – parts 1, 2 and 3).
Alcohol is already banned on specific ScotRail trains during major events. This extension will further improve our customers’ experience and reduce alcohol-related anti-social behaviour at stations and on trains.
BTP will be alerted if passengers refuse to leave after being declined access to trains or if behaviour causes concern to train crew or passengers during a journey, just as they do just do for public order offences.
Do you still sell alcohol on trains?
Yes. However, ‘last orders’ will apply on trains with catering services. We stop selling alcohol at 8.30pm and customers are politely reminded to drink up by 9pm.
If someone has alcohol in a carrier bag, are they not breaking the law?
Common sense is being applied. There are many laws that have a wider scope than is actually applied in practice. The ban is not aimed at passengers returning from a shopping trip with a bottle of wine or a few cans of beer. However, anyone visibly carrying alcohol during these times (opened or unopened) will not be allowed to travel, so we are advising to people to pack it away and keep it out of sight.
So it’s okay if people have alcohol in their bags, where it cannot be seen?
We are not searching bags. Remember, the key purpose of the ban is to ensure customers can make rail journeys safely and in a friendly environment, no matter the time of day.
Why have you made an exception for the Sleeper?
The Sleeper is ‘a hotel on wheels', with a lounge car serving hot food and alcohol, and is exempt. However, anyone unfit to travel is not allowed on board, and staff actions if faced with on-board anti-social behaviour are the same as for ‘dry’ trains.
What about alcohol at stations?
Alcohol retailers have a legal obligation not to sell alcohol to anyone who appears to be unduly under the influence of alcohol. Local authority byelaws already prevent drinking at about 70% of our stations.
If a passenger is refused access to the last train home because they are unfit to travel, what happens to them?
They will be asked to leave the station and find alternative transport. If they refuse to do so, British Transport Police will be called.
This is about encouraging people to take responsibility for their own actions. If they wish to get the train home, they must ensure they are fit to travel.
Just as now, arrangements are in place to care for vulnerable passengers, or those with children.
What if they already have a valid ticket to travel?
Anyone turned away because of anti-social behaviour is not entitled to a refund.
What do I do if I see someone causing problems on my train because they are under the influence?
Move away from the person if you can, into another carriage ideally. Then report it to the member of staff on board. In more extreme circumstances, call BTP directly on 0800 405040.

I thought Higdon was outstanding today.
Could have gone for anyone from Randolph, Nicky Law was class, Jamie Murphy had so much confidence and Darren Randolph was commanding in his area and a great save to touch it onto the bar.
Higdon gave us great link up play and physical strength, plus a great leap for our first goal.
He is my man of the match.

Absolutely Brilliant performance.
Well done to the whole team, especially Jamie, so confident on the ball, ran the show with Nicky Law, who oozes class.
Great centre forward play by big Higgers, maybe now people will see what he gives the team if we keep the same tactics and formation.
Henrik Ojamma deserved his goal for his work rate alone and that should see him kick on now.
Cummins took his goal like a striker and this should give him added confidence as well.
Hutchie got to grips with Foran after his goal and Hammell was his usual consistant self, only getting forward more often.
Chrissy Humphrey had the left back bricking himself every time he got the ball and played over a few good crosses.
We didn't even need to have the housewives favourite, (and mine), Keef, to be on form as the rest of the team were so good.
Well done again we were brilliant today.

Fair do's guys. Much rather you give poor feedback than none at all, least you bothered.MInd you we only started in 1994 so obviously it wasn't OSB Kirky read.
Madscot, all my work afraid to say which leads onto another decline, the number of contributors has slowly slipped. Trying to keep on filling pages with stuff off the top of my own head time after time maybe another factor. I'm conscious that personally I'm covering the same old topics time after time from my perspective, we obviously need new blood to keep things fresh but again the well is drying up through factors like social media giving folk their instant outlet.
Time for me personally to bow out perhaps and hand over to a younger bod, if there is a younger bod out there willing to take it on. Much discussions to come, thanks for your time everyone.

Would have loved to have seen that
I had the pleasure of working with Ian Clinging and when he played in our weekly works 5 a sides he was still great.
He was in our 11 a side team when we won the "Scottish cup" for the company recreational society.
Great player and a nice guy as well.

I saw us winning the cup in 1991, the greatest day in my life, so far.
I saw us winning the first division in the 80's, again, brilliant.
However, having been to Nancy, Odense and Athens, I think qualifying for Europe is fantastic.
You cannot really compare the two, a cup final is a one off, a trip to the shitiest stadium in Scotland and that non-final last year was an embarrasment.
I would certainly love to have a repeat of 1991 but would take a European adventure evry year.
So, it's Europe for me.

I am ok, thanks, I slipped on one of the stairs and hit the back of my head.
They took me to hospital and I got 5 stitches.
My daughter was well looked after and many thanks to Rosie, Narrine and JP for coming to the hospital with her.
I'll see you 3 on Saturday and pay you back for the taxi's and so sorry you had to miss the second half.
Apart from the accident, my daughter and I had a fantastic trip and the Wee Dram was brilliant.

So the Exodus starts today. Safe journey to all Dossers heading off to Athens over the next few days.
Win, lose or draw, this is our time. Our wee diddy team is off to play one of the Giants of European Football in the Champions League. The Champions League !!! Still hasn't sunk in. We may be 2 goals behind, and written-off by all and sundry but there are 38 other Scottish Clubs and sets of fans out there who'd give their hind teeth to be where we are. Lets not forget that.
To the Players ...... You do the Football, and we'll do the Noise.

Anyone arriving on the 2am flight on Tuesday Morning thats staying in the Novus City Hotel or close by that facies sharing a taxi. There are 2 of us so any additional people would reduce the cost. If anyone is interested, send me a pm.

Omonoia Square sounds like it's the place to be after dark to be fair.
With regards to the Wee Dram though, I'll just wait and see what pubs are decent over there. I'd assume Syntagma Square and it's surrounding boozers will be the main meeting place for 'Well fans on match day (Omonoia Square for post-match!).
If I want to go to a Scottish pub, I'll go to the Park Bar in Glasgow on Saturday night rather than waiting til I've flown to Athens on the Sunday. It's the one thing I can never quite understand when folk go abroad - fork out hundreds of quid to get to another country, and hit up the Scottish, Irish and English pubs when you get there...
It is a suggestion for a meeting place for Well fans in Athens for christs sake, not a suggestion for you to change your life time habits.
Chill out, if you don't like the suggestion, don't go to it.

Great day down at Morecambe, non - stop singing, flares and lager at half time, brilliant. Nice wee ground, only a tenner to get in, kids under 14 got in free.
smashing game with a last minute winner as well.
Pub right next to the ground with a beer garden, my wee lassie had a pizza and pasta then an ice cream and I had a couple of pints and a chat with fellow Well fans.
Down to the Kings Arms after the game then train home, back for half past eight,
We met all the guys we were with at Athens and had a wee lager or 2 before the game and at half time.
This is what pre-season trips are all about.
