A lot of the time Slattery was in the team, Watt was there too. We also haven't had the same combination in midfield very often, which I think is more the problem. I do think we should be finding a way to get as many of our best players on the park as possible, and to me that includes Slattery. If he has defensive deficiencies, then we should find a way to mitigate that. Conspiracy theories aside, its true that this is his first season of senior football, so I could understand a rest here and there, but being out the picture for 10 plus games doesn't make sense. Surely match experience is what would help him improve? As for the Donnelly hate, way over the top once again. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The lengths that every team has gone to to avoid success this year is astonishing. No one wants to win the league, no one wants Europe, and no one wants to stay up. The cup final this year is going to penalties and will eventually be decided on a coin toss. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Dundee were absolutely hopeless, and we robbed them. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The ref has been bad, but we've been awful. Every one of our players seem to be actively avoiding space. They had a wee bit of luck for their goal, but it was a good finish once he got control of it. Effords goal reminded me of Dougie's in the 6-2 against hibs, finishing well after fluffing the first attempt. Wouldnt be surprised if we made 3 changes at the half again. Poor game and never a penalty in a hundred years. We really should have tried testing their goalie though. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Kelly kept us in it with some world class saves in the first half. We definitely planned to sit in and be cagey from the start, hoping to press later on, and I guess it worked. I think we bottled it at the end though, we had them on the ropes and could have nicked it, but it's not my job that's on the line so fair play to GA. Hopefully Woolery has now realized he's faster than most full backs and can body just about anyone. His run for the first goal was fantastic. He was good when he came on against Aberdeen too, so hopefully things are clicking. Amaluzor gave a good account of himself and is far more of a pest than our other options. Shaw also had a good half and both should be in contention for next week. I thought Donnelly and Lamie were excellent, it's amazing that we're all sitting here rueing the fact that lamie is leaving. I'm always going to have a soft spot for Donnelly due to how cynical he is, hopefully he can stay clear of injury. Cornelius also worked his arse off, and it's great to see him slowly grow into a regular first team player. I would absolutely have taken a point before today, so pretty happy with that. Rattling them to the degree that they were greeting for penalties for the last ten mins while queuing up to squander one one ones made it a bit sweeter. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

And my best ever tweet of "whit's Gboly dae'n Tom?" got double figures of retweets. What a day. Also, James Scott acting like he didn't know what the big deal was was priceless, and only trumped by the fact Gboly scored the goal but got none of the stick:-) Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Discounting McGinley, who has now signed, O'Hara is the only one I'd keep, and even then I wouldn't be too fussed if he went. Would have kept lamie too. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Backup keepers barely play, but we still need one, so Fox is fine. If PJ is a realistic contender he needs as much game time as possible somewhere. It was nice when we had Gillespie and Carson, but that was a total accident. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Maybe Hastie was shite on loan because Alexander wouldn't let him be manager. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Things weren't going as planned, so he completely changed the system, brought a winger back from loan, and signed another one. He also made the decision to play Turnbull more, and it worked. As bad as the first half of the season was, Robinson made the required changes to turn it around and he deserves the credit for that. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

I'd like to see how he does in management. I don't think he has much of a chance with us for the foreseeable, and it looks like he's done all of his badges and stuff. Also, we can't have a million posts about him coming back if he doesn't leave. Just think, a week where Lasley's OotS wins and GAs Motherwell loses... Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The amount of money Aberdeen and other non-glasgow "big" clubs shell out to achieve the same results as clubs like us, St. J, and Livi is just crazy. Maybe it's the lack of financial flexibility that prevents us from doing stupid shit like signing Scott Brown. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Five minutes in and I was having flashbacks of Greg Denham v Ayr Utd. Ojala was so slow and looked like he was struggling. With that, and recent performances from Sol and Carrol, I feared the worst, but we didn't really give them much of a sniff again until the last few minutes. That save from Kelly was priceless. Bevis was brilliant, and when he was sent up to waste time at the corner I thought it was a master stroke. There were a couple of times where he just let folk bounce off him, and it was great. He is hopeless going forward, outside of just barging his way up the line, but I'll allow it. Our midfield worked their arses off, and O'Hara had a great game considering he was out for so long. Efford looks like he fits into the Scottish game well. He has plenty of pace and is direct. VV benefits from having the two strong runners around him. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Jered Stirling scored that one free kick. Jamie mcgowan was the master of almost stopping goals, and Greg Miller was ginger. That era was heartbreaking, but at least it brought us Jari Litmanen rumors. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Who knows what the lineup will be, my guess is Kelly, Ojala, Mugabi, Slattery, Van Veen and some others. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The era from Harri Kampman through to Eric black had it's fair share of foreign players, but I don't think we ever got close to having only one Scotsman in the team, especially with the decent number of homegrown players we used, and the likes of Corrigan being ever present. Saying that, with the size of our squad we could probably put out an all Scottish XI as well. Maybe that's what we do in training. There could be more to GA getting rid of Gallagher, Lawless, Watt and Lamie than we think :-) Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Posted twice for some reason, but since I'm here, I think we could see Goss drop out too.

This game has 0-0 written all over it, and might not be able to watch it at work, so it's probably going to end up an end to end goal fest. I can't imagine we will start with the same lineup as Sunday, but I don't know the last time we had the same 11 for consecutive games, so nothing new. O'Hara will prob take Grimshaw's place on the bench, and Shaw will most likely come in for Cornelius (which I don't think is fair, but will happen). Lamie is back in training too, so maybe he or Ojala can come in for Carroll. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

1-0 us. Watt and Van Veen to both miss penalties, then Goss to score for us, with a penalty, caused by four guys piling on Bevis from a long throw. Someone will get sent off. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Skill is one thing, but having half the team out on their feet at 70 minutes was embarrassing. Solholm was totally done and should have been off earlier. Their 4th was lucky but they had plenty of chances, and we're fannying around trying to get rogic his hat trick. Tierney and Efford looked bright for a couple of minutes when they came on, but fell away. Woolery did absolutely nothing. Fair enough, not the best situation to judge him on, but he really just looked happy to jog around in a big circle. Cornelius had a good game and I'd be fine with him keeping his spot all season in place of the Celtic guy. McGinley wasn't bad at all, and made some excellent interceptions, but his card has been marked. All in all, we only conceded one in the second half, so not quite the apocalypse everyone predicted. I'm more pissed off at the Ross county and hibs results than this one. I'm going to get some breakfast and watch Cobra Kai. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The suggestion that the players aren't trying is bullshit, their pace and movement is miles above anything we've had to deal with. We switched off at key moments and it cost us. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
