As much as I am looking forward to the Home games against the Ugly Sister, I completly agree with that point. I would only disagree, if we manage to get some sort of level playing field through money distribution, but to be honest we will never have a revenue stream like The Rangers or Shellic. They are 2 massive clubs, no wonder the English dont want them in their league, as I firmly believe over a couple of years they will give most teams a run for the money... not neccesarily on the pitch, but in regards to revenue.

I take it these prices are in store as well? Might pop in before Lunch tomorrow.

Question out of interest: If we really have to sell Murphy to keep the cash flow going and thinking that the estimates in regards to fee for Murphy for developing, why the hell did the club not get 100k from the Well Society as a loan and pay it back in the summer? Someone posted earlier we would be entitled to lots more than 100k in compensation due to Jamie coming through the Well youth system... I thought thats why we created the Well Society?! No?

I thionk what ever happens, some folk will start to show their appriciation in the 10th minute and hopefully everyone will join in. Not sure what else SMC should have said. We all are aware that it is very likely that we will lose players throughout January and if the price is right it will be more than 1. The question would be if we can get anyone in as well. I could live with Randolph being sold. Not only is Hollis a decent keeper, at times Randolph did not look as strong as the season before, although I am aware that Randolph kept us in many times as well. I just think at this moment it might be easier if we would replace a goalie. If we lose Law or Ojamaa we could be in bother. Especially Law seems to be the creative engine in our team. Ojamaa is immense in regards to his work rate. Murphy I could see leave as well, if the money is right. For some reason his form goes up once a Transfer window is around the corner.

People complaining about Barry Ferguson not being good enough as he played for Fleetwood... blah blah blah seem to forget that most of our squad played even in even lower teams in England before moving to the Arc. Its not that Humphrey, Law, Ojamaa etc have been signed from the Barca academy.... I would take Ferguson because he would bring some much needed experience into the team. I dont think Lasley as a defensive Midfielder is simply not working.

That shoud be our focus now. Woud have liked to see us boolster the squad... Of course, but i also expected us to lose players. Now we have to focus on contract running out and running with less than 2 y left.

Well, he had a great season at St.Mirren and he is still living of that in my honest opinion. I'd probably sign him if the money would be ok. I guess he was on a healthy wage.

I mentioned this in my own thread before, there are definate issues between the players. Having said that, I dont think you can blame Henrik for last night?!

I guess there will be some movements, primarely players leaving after tonights game. Not syaing we are losing 3 or 4 players, by all means we dont have enough to fill the bench, but considering the current state, "only" 6500 for yesterdays game, no TV station picked up our game either I think it is fair to say the club will be looking to offload one or 2 players to get a cheap one in. I hope I am wrong, but Law is a potential candiate to be offloaded as has only one year left.... Hutchy, despite the sending off, will get another offer as well.... me thinks.

I really would like to know how much we have been offered. Nicky Law is in his last 12 months and ideally we should try to sign him up or really thinking of selling him. Not that I want to sell him, but it does not make sense for us. Guess the 2 games vs Levante are mighty important....

I think Ramsden looks really good and seems he is going on well with Huchty. As for Murphy: he played on both sides yesterday, so when you refer to the "wrong side" I assume you mewan the bench? I really like Murphy and he has talent, but he is starting to do my head in, really.... Its time for him to make the next step and I mentioned this a few times before, especially since most people thought a few years back he is a big, big talent which eventually will bring a couple quid for the club... thought this myself as well... But maybe it is time to realise that he is "only" a half decent SPL player with lots of ups and downs....

I would be telling porky pies if I'd say I know Levante, but I see it a bit more positive. If we manage a performance like in the Home tie vs Panathinaikos, I think we can pull off a suprise and might go to Spain with a goal or 2 advantage. It is not impossible, although we have to bring our A-Game. Our Defence looks pretty good with Hutch and Ramsden and obvisouly Randolph, they will get another game at the weekend to get some more confidence and build a better partnership. I dont see a reason why we should not keep a clean sheet and if we manage that wse have a decent chance. Not saying we will go through, but I am sure we can give them a run for the money...

I personally would drive Higdon and Murphy down south to any team offering 1.5 Mill for both.... Murphy - mentioned it a few times that he needs to make his next step in his development Higdon - He is slower than my Gran in a wheelchair... never mind pish ball control....He is good in the air, protecting the ball and does a decent job for us, but Championship.....

Not writing them off at this point, but i seriously hope i will be wrong with my observation.

Guys, i am not sure if you have realised since Henrik joined it is pretty apparent that Jamie and Henrik do not get on at all. I am at a point to say that playing them together is hindering the team. Last night was another game, where you could see that all they do is moan at eaxh other and do not pass the ball to each other like children... Problem i have is that Jamie is due to make his next step in his progression. No question he a great talent, but for the last year or 2 i was waiting for the next boost... It keeps missing and i am starting to think that Jamie is a decent player bu nothing more. Henrik put his stamp on the team and actually i think his footballing brain is far ahead of players like Murphy. You can see the runs he is making although yesterday was not his greatest game. He seems far more advanced in "thinking football" and you can see in my honest opinion that he clearly links up better with Law and Lasley. Esp Law and Henrik seem to play much better together, but i think they are good pals outside as well. Wonder what you think and how we can solve this situation. Does one have to go?

I don't want to burst the bubble, but I dont think UEFA allows to play the CL Music, because its not the CL... yet. Unlike the last game last season, when it was more a fun thing, I guess UEFA will probably check on this. If they do play it, I hope the DJ presses FF until the proper music starts, not like the Dundee utd game, when the music started from the beginning. There is only a certain part that will be played.
