This whole Samson talk isn't too far off I believe. 2 years ago he had to make the decision between Motherwell and Killie and we all know where he ended up. This could possibly be rekindled fairly quickly. Not saying it would be a good move... I'd rather give a young goalie a shot, before we get Samson.

In all fairness to Long, he probably had his 2 best games against Rangers, apart from the goal we conceded at Ibrox.

to think Clarkson will replace Sutton is stupid. Clarkson is nowhere near Sutton in regards to goals scored. You can argue about mobility etc, but one thing that Sutton did was scoring goals. Clarkson has scored a terrible 34 goals in around 160 games.That is since he left Motherwell. Sutton scored 98 goals in just over 200 games...

Pretty chuffed with the Playoff win. The Motherwell with the flag could potentially cost the club a lot of money. I don't mind banter, a bit of booing etc but that was just stupid! He hits him properly, the player goes down and needs substituted.... this could have ended up pretty bad! However, Baraclough tactics spot on for both games and for once (twice obviously for both games) the players showed character and courage. The experienced players. Pearson, Lasley, McManus, McDonald and Hammell did keep cool and guided the team through the games. Especially McManus had probably the best 2 games in a Motherwell strip. Now I am looking forward to see how the 'best scouting network in Scotland' will do, as Hutchinson has called it during the Q&A session. Baraclough can bring in more of his ideas, including his assistant obviously. Mohsni kicked off after the game again. I was waiting to get a few pictures taken when he walked over when he saw Lee asking him to go 'around the corner' until stewards stepped in. We should have the very least 'bring a friend' for Seasonticket holders. If we can get a result, I fancy us at home against most, paired with a Killie loss, all of a sudden its only one game. Problem vs Killie is the goal difference though.

Only for these kind off games Friday Night Football will have some sort of success. How they can have Aberdeen vs Motherwell on a Friday night is beyond believe. Keep it local as much as you can. Anyway, hoping for a win... couldnt care less about the result, or how we win.

Plenty of good performances, but gave to Pearson. Not as obvious as Lasley, Erwin, Law and others, but he kept Central Midfield very tight. You can really see his experience he gained down south.

Possibly a good thing we dont have a game at the weekend. Should give the team a lot of time to get used to each other. Wish the away game would be a bit closer, as a fact it couldnt be any further away.... Would have loved to go and support the team, but Dingwall is a bit too far for me.
