As much as I like the signing, its again a 2-year contract. I know its both parties which need to agree, but these 2 year contracts dont do us any good.

I'd rather play with 10 men than having Clarkson back. Still cant not believe the hype about Clarkson going down South and he would score plenty of goals. Before his injury he was exactly a great goalscorer. Yes, the injury didnt give him playing time, yet I highly doubt it would have made a difference. This season he played 26 games and scored 6 and he had some decent playing time. Then again, it was only a rumour

I obviously have a different view on this, simply because I am German. My first ever football top was a Rangers top, hence I have a wee softspot for them. Since I came over in 2004 I picked up some sort of hate towards the old firm. However, the way are being raised in Scotland, in urgent need I am sure most people would "know" which team to pick.

Did Tade not score a few good goals against us? Dont think he will be the worst signing ever. In regards to Gordon I think it depends on the deal. If we can get him on a cheap deal, I would probably take him on and give him a 6-months deal and see how he goes on. However, on the flip side, if we sign Samson why spend money for another goalie? But then: At least we are about to sign players as early as May... First time I have seen that happening, so I assume McCall was spot on when he said that there are players that actually want to play for the Mighty Well.

Footballers dont the clubs the way supporters see...! Rangers is still a massive attraction wether we like it or not. The circus might be crazy but if you'd a package of around 8-10k, then they dont really care. Maybe he feels settled in Scotland and maybe there is no decent offer from down south... And as mentioned above, Rangers will be back in the SPL in 2 years and if everything goes to plan for a chnage at Rangers, they will challenge for the title straight away.

Its working because the teams are having the salary cap. Teams can take a breather for a year or 2 no problem, pick up draft picks and come back stronger... sometimes... Complete different scenario as you say, esp the NFL people tend to forget that these are actually 2 different leagues! In regards to the MLB where you have a 160 and more game season, you are bound to play a team a few times I dont see why a 14 team league wont work.... to many meaningless games? Dont think so if you have Playoffs...

Not the worst idea.... I think if we somehow would manage to get into the Group stages, we might be able to make a few quid and offer the odd player a long term contract and if needed let them go in January... for a small fee.

Yeah money, you are but it still confirms my point that there is no point arguing the players sign for this or that club. Sutton signing for Herats, Stevenson signing for them as well... Another 2 examples that players do not really care whats up within the club as long as the money is ok. Although there might be the odd, very odd player who doesnt see it completly that way...
