    Herts Away

can you definitely pay on the gate? just that i only decided last minute so never got the chance to buy one.
  2. can you get them from the ground? i decided last minute to go tonight but ive not made it over to get tickets.
  3. If you mean Blake's against Man Utd then I would have to disagree with you.
  4. Bit upset about Fitzy. He was the same as Shaun Fagan when he was here, I always wanted him to do well just to get one up the boo boys. Although Fagan was never the most gifted, I always thought Fitzy had it in him. Bit disappointed to see him leave as he was beginning to come onto a game imo. Not bothered about Smith tbh, never really showed the bottle to cut it at this level.
  5. I was mascot for the Sellick game, first game of the season. The one where Kerr came off the bench for the injured Leitch and scored a screamer, and that wee c**t Beatie scored at the end to steal a dramatic victory from us. I must have been about 13 then Incidentally that was Leitch's last ever game for Motherwell. I also won the right to go out as Claret for the charity game against Falkirk, aged 14 I think. It was hilarious, I could hardly walk and was falling all over the place - the suit was usually worn by someone over 6 foot and i was only about 5 foot!
  6. Definitely, although I can see finances being an issue. If he's at Bristol, and was at Leeds, then I'd imagine he'd be looking for a club who could offer money of a similiar amount to those clubs. Still, would quite easily get 15+ goals a season in the SPL imo.
  7. Yeah, if Celtic were to come by and wave loads a' dosh in his face then he could go. But I'm with SteveDiggle on this. Surely if he stays with us for a few seasons, improves further, then he can win a move to a bigger club than Celtic? This is what I'm wanting Gannon to get through to him.
  8. Let me guess, McGhee?
  9. Am I right in saying he's a Motherwell fan? I'd say judging by the sheer joy he showed after he scored the other night that he feels something for the club at least. Why then, if he was a Motherwell lad, would he give up the chance to play for his boyhood club each week to go rot away in the reserves. If there is any doubt in the boy's mind then I'd feel quite confident that Gannon would be the man to convince him to stay.
  10. But how much would we be paying? Did Everton not pay quarter of a million for him? Surely they'd be wanting a wee bit of that back? Upon typing that I realised that quarter of a million is nothing in the Premiership, and so they probably wouldn't care.
  11. How much is that costing you mate?
  12. I wouldn't have said he went out his way to waste our season, more a case of he couldny give a fuck whether it went alright for us or not.
  13. What do you guys think I should do? Me and my dad were wanting to go. We never made Nancy last year, or Albania this. If we were to go but, we wouldn't be able to go to the next round if we get through. I really want to go to this game, yet at the same time unsure incase the next round throws us somewhere more exciting. What do yous think?
  14. Anyone else having difficulty opening this?

    Hat-tricks

Porter last season, did Clarky not score one a few seasons ago? I remember it was dark, so it was either in the winter or a midweek game, and I think it was against Dundee Utd. However, Faddy's against Livingston stands out the most. I had only just started going to the gaes, so I don't really remember much, but it was that hat-trick and in particular his third goal where he ripped half their team a new arsehole that hooked me for life at Fir Park.
  16. The name rings a bell, I'm not sure where I know it from but. It's maybe spelt wrongly n that case.
  17. Where was it said there were trialists coming in?
  18. Seen this on the Daily Record site this morning... EX-MOTHERWELL defender Marios Klimpl has failed to win a deal with Cardiff City. The Slovakian midfielder was also a target for Aberdeen but the Dons are thought to have dropped their interest. (Daily Express) Not sure whether that opens the door for a return, or whether its karma for not signing with us in the first place.

    The Albo 10!

MotherWell here is your Bad Daddy
  20. If we're being brutally honest here he's not going to get much better, he'll never cut it down there in a million years. Guess we should do the decent thing and take him off their hands for nowt.
  21. I think Forbes has waited long enough for his chance, and it would be a bit of a kick in the teeth if he got it taken away from him by someone who clearly doesn't want to be here. If he resigns soon then fair doos, I'll be glad, but I wish he'd just sort it out soon so we can get on with our preparations.
  22. I thought he was eligible. After he signed did Gannon not say something along the lines of him being their wildcard for this round but with him still being unsure about whether he was going to take him to Albania with him at such short notice? Would that not mean he can still play in the return, should he be fit?
  23. Keepers Fraser Polish lad Defenders Saunders Hammell Craigan Reynolds Page Hutchinson Midfielders Lasley McGarry Fitzpatrick Jennings Forbes O'Brien Slane Smith Strikers Sutton Murphy McHugh That's a squad of 19 there. Admittedly there are a lot of inexperienced youngsters but there are certainly the bodies there and they do have talent/potential. I think that the 5 or 6 he brings in will be more experienced, versatile players capable of playing a variety of positions. Then he can rotate the youngsters as the squad will be about 24/25 players in size. I don't think we'll need to bring in much more than the 5 or 6 he's mentioned, as although we've lost a lot of first teamers we've also gained a lot of youngsters and so don't need to replace man for man.
