I think anti-football is a bit harsh when discussing yesterday, Modernist. It wasn't beautiful to watch, sure, but that was due to both teams, not just a consequence of Motherwell trying to spoil the game. The only difference for me was that Celtic had a couple of players in Maloney and McCourt who can beat a man and make something happen, whilst Well struggled for creativity. Can such a player be found at the right price?
Stop being pretentious.

We wont and didn't today either. As for Inter fans I dont give a flying fuck. I'm a Dosser.
Totally missing his point.

Sorry but that's just lies. Just re-watched the game and when Forbes comes on he's doubled-over gasping for breath, then again a few minutes later. He charged their keeper down because he was the furthest man forward, which in turn was only because he doesn't have the legs to get back in time.

Watched Lasley make umpteem passes over varying distances to his team mates today. No he isn't Mr creativity to unlock defences but he was solid and did even make one or two that pried and probed.
For the first time I agree with MFCGaryMFC. Lasley disappoints me, he can't play simple passes and it's getting very frustrating.

Loving the doom and gloom merchants on these boards. Today was shite, shite games happen.

Sorry but Lasley has been poor for the last two games. Just because he runs about chasing things doesn't make him have a 'good shift', it makes his tired which was shown today seeing as he was blowing out his arse after 70 minutes.
-
You can't pass your way through the better teams when players like Lasley and Hateley are caught hiding for 90 minutes.

How can the Cardiff fans even try to defend this? They owe us money, they haven't paid us it, that puts them in the wrong.
Also, I saw a Cardiff fan on those boards saying "Motherwell are a small club, FACT". What the fuck does that have to do with anything?

The guy is an absolute legend.

I was in the club shop yesterday and didn't ask who the sponsor is or when it would be announced because I'm not sad as fuck.
-
Very disappointed that the club have raised the prices and not offered any type of concession tickets for those who might need them.
Just shows that every time the club look like they're on form behind the scenes they are always able to fuck that right up.
-
Apparently they signed a guy from Stirling albion instead!
That doesn't change the fact you don't know that he wasn't offered a deal at Morton.

If we get through would be delighted to miss out on a glamour tie but get someone like
The New Saints where we have a 50-50 chance of getting to the group stages.
Not possible.
-
I remember plenty folk saying we wouldn't make the top 6 at this stage last season because our squad was too small.
-
as other people have said of course it works or companies wouldn't be spending billions on it every year worldwide.
I don't see why some people don't seem got get that.

Given the timespan it would be a logistical nightmare. It would be unworkable. Given that the club had considerably less than a fortnight to organise home leg tickets how long would season ticket holders be given to "book" their seats? One week? If that was the case then non season ticket holders would have say 3 days to collect theirs. This could lead to a large number of ticket sales artificially crammed into a very limited time slot. What about mixed groups of ST holders groups wanting to sit beside their friends/family who weren't ST holders?
How would it be a logistical nightmare? If they reserved the season ticket seats for say, 5 days, a week, whatever, then that doesn't stop tickets being sold for all other seats. That way, no season ticket holders can get tickets season ticket holders can get the seat the usually sit in. Hardly 'unworkable' is it?
I suppose the only alternative would be to sell a Euro package for say 3 games in advance and then folk would take their chance as to whether or not we'd be involved in 3 games. They might end up forking out to see 3 games but in reality only watching one. That's daft, see my first point.
I'm a season ticket holder myself and someone has taken my seat - so what? I'll be in the same general area and that'll suit me fine. That would be fine if season tickets had allocated 'general areas' and not seats.

I will be accused of being condescending but I still say that anyone who pays big money for such a trip to a Europa League qualifier ( yes qualifier ) deserves full respect. I wouldn't do it and defer to those who do. I hope you had a superb trip and that it was worth ever penny. Top marks
Stop being so condescending then ya wank.

Season ticket seats should have been reserved. Bit of a joke.
Anti Football.
