Oh btw. A mate of ours got chucked out last night, wasn't sitting with the 'Well Boys but after standing up all game in the back row a random steward comes over and tells him to sit down and "shut his mouth".
John replied "don't talk to me like that ya jobsworth" to which the steward told a Police officer that he's been told to fuck off and got him fecked out. Later found out the steward used to live down the road from John and supposedly never liked him.
Throwing someone out for a personal dislike? Joke!

It's wholly possible that he's the best defender Mark McGhee's ever put in a Motherwell jersey.
Reynolds 08/09? Quinn? Hammell? Craigan? Malcolm @ centre half? Lasley @ right back?
Totally agree! Klimpl is no worse than any other player for mistakes. And when was the last night you saw a Motherwell centre half chest a ball down in the 6 yard box and beat his man, or do keepy-uppies with his head then clear it with a bicycle kick?

Last night there were no problems and no complaints untill the Stewards and 3 women (who I can only assume were on Kitchen Leave) waded in in full Hitler mode. Total joke.

I agree with you, the performances are not acceptable, and things need to happen to get this sorted. But I'm fully confident that he will sort it and we'll be back playing decent football before long.
It's the folk calling for his head that I think is a bit ridiculous. I know football is a results based business, but if we were as ruthless as some of the fans want us to be then we'd be having 4 managers a year with absolutely hee haw consistency!

Neil is right, us well fans are arseholes. I'm as worried as the next person about the situation we're in, but shouting for the managers head is just ridiculous. Bear in mind this is his first full season with us where he's had the chance to work without external influences, huge media speculation etc. The Motherwell managers job must be a completely different ball game this year to what it was last year; and he's probably adjusting to that.
Give him time!
No offence but he's had 17 league games to adjust. Now I'm not calling for his head, just pointing out that this is not acceptable but how much time does he need?

Members? In the name of the Wee Man, are you some kind of official movement now? No, you are WEE BOYS who ask people for a fiver at the start of the season to be allowed to stand up, sing some songs, wave some nice flags, and generaly make a twat of yourselves!How did we ever survive or create any atmosphere up untill your formation 2 years ago? Now OK, have your sing-songs, wave your flags, stand on your fucking heads if you like, but the last time I checked the seats were there for a reason, a reason dictated to MFC under the rules of stadia within Scottish Football. So, if you are asked to sit down, why not just fucking do it? We're not allowed to invade the pitch either, but hey, its a laugh and winds up stewards, lets do it every week! All I was aying is that yes, I agree that you DO bring back a decent atmosphere to FP, and much of what you do is in good spirits, however things can, on occasion be taken too far, and IMO tonight was one of thesesuch occasions.
Now, if you wish me to discuss this in person I have no qualms over a pint of milk and a ginger snapp, your place or mine?

One positive from last night is that Accies will be down £88 on Sat.
Decided last night on the way out of the ground that 4 of us won't be making the trip on Sat.
Same here, £22 staying in my pocket.
If McGhee decided he wanted to go today then I'd pack his desk for him. I have no idea what he's trying to do with the team but it feels like he's trying to put a square peg is a triangle hole.
Mark, it hasn't worked since August, try something new or try somewhere else!

Think I noticed him get beat maybe 3 times. Not great but but the best of the defence bar Saunders (who BTW is Paul Quinn II).
Unusually nippy and skillful for a centre half, certainly not the big monster centre half I imagined. He could 100% do a job for us, looks a good player and with someone like Craigan beside him (Reynolds no midfield?) he could become great player.

Really good wee player though, was a different level to every player on the park in the Challenge cup semi.

Inverness are no less garbage than us so I don't see many of their players coming this way to improve our team and I don't see them going from first team at Inverness to Motherwell Reserves. Not that I can think of anyone better to come in.

Saw this on the BBC last week. To be perfectly honest the wouldn't miss Hughes as far as this season goes, he's been a non-runner since August.
