Saunders for me although Lukas and O'Brien are good shouts. I am starting to come round to our number 9. 4 goals in his last 4 games and a cracking display against Hearts. Keep it up Lukas!!
I don't think JG had Craigan in mind. If he plays he is Captain and he has featured in more games than he has missed. Admittedly, we missed Hammell and Yassin at the weekend and had to resort to putting Humphrey and Hately at the back but we DID miss Craigan in the second half. I'm sure JG would have noticed that.
Disappointed with the result as we had the best chances to win it. The game seemed to swing in ten minute spells of dominance but Utd put every chance they had wildly over the bar. Like last year when Rangers put us out we were looking good until we got reduced to ten men. Also saw Hutchinson and Page at the game.
That knocks Motherwell 5 Aberdeen 6 into second place then Pretty sure the first game was a 9-4 win for the home team. Wee bit disappointed to miss this one (had a chance to play but these things happen) but have been told I am down for the next one. Will look forward to it. Hope the guys get a date locked down soon.
That was the rumour I heard. TB was offering £800 a week and he was due to sign but in popped MM with 2k. Contract quickly signed, much rubbing of hands etc.
Forgot about him. In saying that isn't he 6 months into a 2 year contract and allegedly earning 2k a week? If so I doubt he will be going anywhere and that will be MF's choice.
The idea of losing an internationalist like Craigan at this point is silly. We do need experience. What happens if our younger players get injured, suffer poor form etc. Craigan might need to spend some time on the bench but I don't see him going. Lasley and McGarry will be gone.
Yassin and Ruddy....yes. Lukas, I will need to see a wee bit more from over next month to change my mind. In saying that I did think he put in a great shift on Saturday.
Couldn't agree more. Two goals on Saturday doesn't convince me. Admittedly his first was a good finish but look at his second. A fresh air shot, chest, then a shot. Against a better defence that would never have been allowed to happen. Had a great chance to bring us back into the game on Tuesday and chose poorly. A this time he would be behind Sutton and McHugh for me.
Ruddy
Saunders Hutchinson Reynolds Hammell
Humphrey Jennings Forbes O'Brien

Spot on WellArmy. I have the fear for this game as Hearts looked fairly good against Celtic. In saying that they are in the wrong half of the table due to their inability to score goals. 1-0 Well.
Everybody played horribly. NO ONE from our team would be pulling on the black and white this weekend if such a thing happened. In saying that I still think we will do them in the next league game at FP. I'm deluded like that.
The only games I have missed this season are Flamurtari and Steau away and I'll be damned when I'm in the ground and watching the game if I can confidently state the formation. Even with last night I have heard it referred to as 3-4-2-1/5-4-1 and so on. Players getting played out of position, formations being chopped and changed......I'm not sure our squad is good enough for that. If 4-4-3 didn't work for McGhee we toiled. Gannon isn't afraid to mix it but maybe a little too much. Most games we don't seem to have a midfield and very little threat up front. Despite shipping six goals in 180 minutes to St Mirren I am fairly happy with the defence. I'm fairly concerned where the goals are coming from as I am not convinced by Lukas. Maybe give 4-4-2 a go Jim!!
Three times in the last (nearly) four years I have visited Paisley to watch them dump us out of a Cup. Sickening! Truly our bogey team and maybe why I dislike them more than pretty much anybody.
Yassin, Lukas, and John Ruddy. Pretty sure O'Brien would only have 6 months left at that point too.....meaning he could sign a pre contract. Pretty sure the same applies to Coke, Jennings, and Hately who are on year long contracts.
