Obviously this is inspired by our game against Mark McGhee's Aberdeen on Saturday. We got a 'doubler' last season against Butcher and Malpas when we beat ICT 2-1. Off the top of my head I am struggling to remember how we got on against Tommy McLean's Hearts and Alex McLeish's Hibs in their first games against the Well. Someone with a better memory than my own help me out?

Liking this team! Suppose it depends if Hammell is available or not. If he was I'd put him at LB, Hateley at RB, and Reynolds DM. Murphy/Humphrey could come on and replace Slane/O'Brien if required and Jennings into DM role. In my mind NO ONE has anything more to prove to McGhee than Forbes and Slane especially after throwing a 16 year old in against Accies last week. The next three games are big uns. Aberdeen away, Rangers home, and Dundee Utd away. A victory up there would be fantastic. A draw wouldn't be the end of the world. At this time I would settle for a 1-1......would be over the moon with 2-0 or 2-1. Gannon is STILL to get his first competitive clean sheet as boss.......let us hope it is this Saturday.

Agree with this. Felt Killie actually dominated the first fifteen minutes or so after the break. Great result with some cracking performances. Humphreys and Jennings aren't showing the talent Coke is.....but give them time. Slane, Forbes and Hutchinson are like three new signings. All great players. Hatelely looked good. Spied his auld man in the Main Stand. Only disappointments were no clean sheet (Gannon is still to get his first) and Forbes 90th minute shot coming back off the underside of the bar and away. Really looking forward to the trip to Aberdeen.
