  1. Would like to have seen Hutch and Ramsden together today but there could be reasons (injury, illness etc.) why that isn't happening.
  2. Cheers. A shame but not unexpected.
  3. Just out of interest are any of the Supporter's buses running?
  4. A booking every game but I didn't think Klimpl was that bad in the 6 months he featured for us. What happened to him after Dundee?
  5. Well done to anyone going that's for sure. No doubt we will take a small support due to kick off time. This on SKY I take it? 2-2. A point away from home but another game without a clean sheet for me.
  6. Gavin Gunning would be nowhere near a 'best of' team for me.
  7. FM would appear to be the game of choice. Talk aboot taking yer work hame wi' ye
  8. I'm sure a few of us have heard the rumours (and I believe they are only that) over the weekend. That ourselves and St Mirren, and Dunfermline (no Killie?) will be playing part time football next season. I heard it from three seperate people....all supporting different teams. None of them Motherwell I should add The Rangers fans mixing it? Some noticing the amount of first team players we will lose very shortly and seeing it as a 'clear out'? Some fearing the worst if, as could happen, we exit both Cups at the first attempt and produce a bottom six finish? The Well Society potentially not raising required funds? No John Boyle type at the helm to dig deep? Budget being slashed year on year with experience and quality thin on the ground? A bit of everything leading to those rumours? Thoughts on the above? Thoughts on what would occur (relegation etc.) if we did go PT in the top tier? Short term, long term etc. The status of those players who will be with us past the summer........ Just trying to provoke discussion on the subject.
  9. I'm with the above posters. No from me as well. I put more than enough money into the Club and to be honest I'd rather see people get something for their money rather than just handing it over. Seems too easy and a bit lazy (not from the fans) imo. Not a popular opinion but certainly my own. Buy a box in the official programme, buy a programme, food, 50/50 ticket at the game if you don't usually. Join the Well lotto. Open up a kid's membership for a friend's/your own kid for the Well Society. So many ways of doing it. I'd just like to see people get something for their money than just hand it over with nothing in return.
  10. Are they taking good crowds away?
  11. I think we will beat Dundee by 2 or 3 goals on Saturday. Hearts and ICT will be tough games for us though.
  12. I do agree but sad if Motherwell fans stayed at home to watch Celtic play Barcelona. I'd say weather and PATG prices and potentially some annoyance over the ticketing for this game were big factors.
  13. It'll be interesting to see crowd on Saturday. Dundee at home, a game at one point fans were talking about leaving season books at home. I don't think too many, if any, will do that and Dundee will bring a poor support. Less than 4,500.......at least better than the poor crowd last night. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the really crap weather convinced a good number of fans, home and away, to watch CL football on the TV.
  14. It does. We are still top six and I expect us to be there on Saturday night. Unless we lose out to Utd on goal difference. I'm not in the slightest bit confident of progressing past Aberdeen in the Cup though.
  15. No need to panic in the slightest. I'd say though that finishing outside the top 6 is a strong possibility. We will lose at least one player in January imo and our defense is leaking minimum one goal a game regardless of combination. Hopefully Saunders can come back and play very well in defense as he might need to play at CB. Finishing out of the top 6 would be a massive blow financially. Especially as we seem to budget for that. Aberdeen in the Cup is the big one for me. After the disaster of the League Cup we need a goid run in the Scottish to earn some cash. Bottom six finish, and early League and Scottish Cup exits could have a pretty massive effect on our finances going into the 2013/14 season......and look how bare our squad is at the monent with number and quality. Could easily get much worse. Nae danger of relegation though
  16. Thought we played well and were unlucky. Not a bad game of fitba and both teams were evenly matched. Their goal was a pretty fine heider. In saying that our defensive record continues to be very poor and McCall's substitutions still baffle me at times. Seen us play worse and win......but that is another negative result. McCall should be concerned.
  17. Think this game will be a draw. 2-2 Higdon and Murphy.
