  1. Not 100% sure but I thought you could only appeal yellows if it was mistaken identity? Anyway hopefully 3 points tonight and it doesn't matter
  2. Last minute fitness decisions on Hammell, Ferguson and Frear for tomorrow night.
  3. I am in now way convinced but Heneghan was good today.
  4. Bookings have been baffling. Similar to previous weeks weeks where we haven't looked in too much bother, but neither keeper has made a save. Clay with a couple of efforts just past the post for us. But overall a scrappy, nervy game.
  5. Ditto. It's gonna be tense. An early goal to calm the nerves would be lovely.
  6. Had a storming debut and has been injured virtually the whole time since. I think he had quite a few injuries during his time at Preston too.
  7. It's a shame Scott Fox isn't the Accies keeper or the front rowers could have shot him.
  8. Faycal Rherras released by Hearts. Always thought he was a decent player and can play left or right back. Would take a look at him if he fancied staying in Scotland but think he would likely be outwith our budget.
  9. The club tweeted that there were 500 tickets left about 1pm from our total allocation of c. 2,200. Expecting to sell out by tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully we're a fair bit passed the 1,700 mark with the late opening tonight. if we could hit 2,500 - 3,000 it'd be some effort by the fans. Hopefully the players can rise to the occasion. Edit - club just tweeted there's less than 300 tickets remaining.
  10. I'm hoping Pearson is fit for this game and we can pull a performance out of him. The fact we have no goal threat or creativity in the middle of the park makes it so easy for teams to double up on our wingers knowing we offer no threat whatsoever from the centre of midfield. If Pearson could provide a bit of drive from CM it would give us another attacking dimension as well as hopefully free up some space for our wide players. He hasn't looked like the Pearson of last season yet but if ever there was a time Saturday is it!
  11. If we get an offer north of £250k for him I'd take the money. I thought he had a decent start to the season but hasn't improved in any aspect of his game since and I'm now of the opinion he just isn't that great. Could be down to the players around him etc but I think we could get someone equally capable who's out of contract at the end of the season. Edit - Just saw he only has 1 year left. Any 6-figure offer should be considered.
  12. Exactly - Thistle got Keown and Ryan Edwards, who's an excellent midfielder, from Reading whilst we ended up with Jake Taylor and Zak Jules from the same club.
  13. A bit of that please. That's a winner
  14. A bit of interesting (and rather depressing) reading about Saturday's game, particularly if you're into your stats. https://twitter.com/clydessb/status/861855055565262848
  15. I picked up my tickets this morning. All ticket now and Accies have demanded we sell from the back of the stand forwards with allocated seats for everyone, which won't happen obviously. If previous visits to NDP are anything to go by then I'd get there early. Could be a nightmare to get in.
  16. Sounds like there's hee haw happened. We need to make more of our set piece opportunities.
  17. If Accies lose and we win today then we could go to NDP knowing a win would essentially see us safe, and potentially see Accies dumped into the playoffs. That would make a dismal season somewhat more pleasant!
  18. Can't agree with that Weeyin. We've scored 40 goals, second best in the bottom 6 and only 1 less than County who've scored the most. We've also scored more than Partick, and only 6 and 9 less than St J and Rangers respectively. The 64 in the GC column is undoubtedly the issue for me. I appreciate some of our goals have come in gluts - 4 vs Accies, 4 vs County, 3 vs ICT, but at the minute we need to score minimum 2 goals to even pick up a point (1.88 average goals conceded per game) which is abysmal.
  19. Good post and pretty much sums up my thoughts on the squad and the formation options at the minute. 4-4-2 is a must for me and I don't think it's any coincidence that Heneghan has started to make more errors since we switched to 3 at the back. Having Ainsworth in the team should take the some of the creative burden off Frear and playing with 2 wide men should hopefully stop Moult from drifting wide where he is less effective. Like you, I'd love McHugh back in the midfield but a back line of Heneghan and Jules with potentially Cadden at RB worries the hell out of me. We've done reasonably well against County this year so fingers crossed it keeps up. I'll say a nervy 2-1 win after going 2 up.
  20. Ross Maclean starting too. Could him come back in on the right and move Cadden inside?
  21. The bold Jake Taylor won Exeters player of the season! Edit - beaten to it
  22. No Boyce and no Schalk for them which is a big bonus. Appreciate Schalk isn't always a starter but I think he's a handy player. Back to basics for me in this one and set up in a 4-4-2 with Cadden at right back (is there anyone else?) and Ainsworth in front of him, and try to build a lead rather than reverting to this when we're chasing the game. I really hope we drop the long ball stuff as the likes of Andrew Davies will eat them up all day. With Boyce out hopefully we can restrict them to only 1 goal, we're never keeping a clean sheet, and I'm reasonably confident we can nick 2 ourselves. 2-1 Motherwell - Moult with both.
  23. Heneghan needs binned. Turns his back on the Dundee player today who rips him a new one, that's before mentioning how slow he was to get out to him, and a simple drop of the shoulder has him picking his arse and us losing at Partick. Get big Zak in for next week, at least his headers get given when they go in!
  24. I see Gillingham have released a statement late last night saying the guy Rory Donnelly who we were linked with yesterday has been suspended by the club until further notice. Doesn't go into any more detail than that.
  25. Thanks for the response Jay. I'd appreciate if the board could provide some more info following the next meeting.
